Stop the Insanity: Measure Member Notability by Quality -- or Die!

This is crucially important. All members are implored to read and unanimously agree.

Darth Vaper is statistically the greatest member of this forum.

That is correct. It has been said right here.

Why is this fact not universally and innately known? Because the deserving is being snubbed from rightful recognition by the prejudiced system of member notability rating.

Don't believe it? See for yourselves. Visit the MEMBERS section of the forum. There you will find many members recognized and ranked from 1 to 20. Very nice. So?

So?! - - Where is Darth? Surely there must be some mistake. You must all have immediately had the same thought. Obviously. This is the most natural reaction and what we need to fix.

Yes, we can agree that this is another completely ludicrous post made extra verbose with maybe a few sentences of actual content. No contest there. But in all seriousliness, if members are ranked by simply the number of posts then the logical conclusion would be to post as often as possible with little to no concern for the quality of the content - whatsoever. Observe the horrors that await you if this does not serve as a sobering warning.

If the quality of posts were measured by a very simple equation from statistical data already available, we should all see clearly that Darth Vaper is the #1 member of the forum and must be recognized as such immediately.

Here is how the present injustice is easily proven: Take the "so called" top 3 members presently enjoying their patently false positions on the list.

1. -V-
2. Siam Diesel
3. Rick-O-Shea

The volume of posts created by each member is 9,399, 4,811 and 3,748 respectively. Now consider the LIKES received for these posts. We find, 2,050 given to -V-, 2,570 bestowed upon Siam Diesel and 2,369 to Rick-O-Shea. Yeah, so? You may say.

So, if we were to derive a score by dividing the likes received by the number of posts created a much truer measurement as to who is really the most liked member will become undeniably obvious.
