And just as important...you're pulling 15-16 amps (min.) from your battery, which is why using quality, high-drain batteries is an absolute MUST when you're sub-ohming.

I think im safe. Im pulling 15-16 amps on my coil at 0.18r. Im using eVic vtc mini with a Elfest 35A battery. Power mode 45 watts lets me vape on (one) fully charged battery a day..

Just an info post. Batteries are measured using a continuous discharges rate, CDR, and that is what is meant to be on the side if displayed. The Efest you are using is a rewrap of another companies battery and they are displaying a pulse rating. There are NO 35 A CDR on the market as they are not yet made. As it is a rewrap there is zero guarantee of which battery you are actually using so it would be wise to keep in mind that you don't actually have a CDR for your battery.

So its probably a re wrap of a 20-25 discharge rate then..

In the pasty they have been using LGHE2 for this battery. That is a 20A CDR so much closer to your 15.8A discharge on the mentioned build than you thought. Of course they may be using a different battery to wrap now so who really knows, This info is about 3 months old.

So what is the best battery on the market now that will be best for sub-ohming?

If you can get authentic then I would go for Sony VTC5. The is disregarding teh internal resistance of the battery. The Sony VTC series are the ONLY battery with a 30A CDR. Ssamsung 20R and 25R, LGHE2, LGHE4 and LGHG2 are all very good batteries as well. Even with the lower Amp rating at least you know what you have.

Others may have different thoughts on this but these are recognised as good batteries in the vaping world.

At this point, you really should be doing your own research, not relying on others...you've made the choice to sub-ohm at the lower (most dangerous) end of the range. Do the research and decide how much risk you're willing to accept...it's your face.
