    Quad twisted 32AWG, 7 wraps on 2.4mm screwdriver. 0.8ohms

Nothing fantastic. Prefer my parallel coil build.

Gave it a go with something completely new, I been using dual nano coils and twisted 28 gauge and like both of them quite a bit.

Tried Dick Trippers Tricro Coil today, it was a bit work to get it all in there tight and smooth. I'm fairly surprised with this one so far, like it alot. He says he gets a medium warm vape. I think its quite cool though, I only used it for alittle while so far but I really the airflow and flavor, it produces a fair amount of vapor but I think I get more on the nano dragon coil.

My coil comes out at 1.9 ohm and I used 28 gauge kanthal.

Running parallel dual coil on 28 gauge kanthal. I had to build them on the side otherwise it would block the air holes on the Tohb. It runs at .19ohm

Just made a Twisted 28g coil, 10 wraps, giving me 1.0ohm. Taste is very warm. Its my first twisted, and i like the way it looks.
Its mounted in the new zenith V2 (from big) and I'm vaping Malibu from Halo.

Bought Vaper's Origen Storm clone and received it today. Vape was nice and left his coil set-up on it:

I'll try this out on my Nemesis brass that should be arriving later this week!

I use 28 g kanthal, 9 wraps and get about 1.6 ohms. If lesser the wraps will I get less ohms? Also how does it affect the flavor and vape having less or more ohms?

I've been happily vaping my eVic Supreme/Delta Tank combo this past week. The mod is fantastic and the Delta puts out great flavor and a ton of vapor for a clearomizer, much more than my 3 Kayfuns.

At the same time I also got a Veritas RDA clone from Big but it didn't impress me that much. I don't consider myself an advanced vaper by any means and a lot of the technical stuff is over my head. Safety first is my moto and that's why I've been wary of going sub-ohm with an RDA. So with the Veritas I just built a single 1.5 ohm coil and it was okay but to be honest, the Delta was a way better vape.

Last night I thought, "stuff it!" I'm gonna give the Veritas another shot with a sub-ohm build and dual coils. I just used that mini/blue handled screwdriver that comes with most kits and man, that thing is tiny, is it even 1.5mm? I used a single length of 28g kanthal wire, wrapped it around the positive post and screwed the small, fiddly nut tight. Because the diameter of the screwdriver was so small I decided to do a 6/5 wrap for each coil. I put the Veritas onto my SVD and it read 0.5 ohms, so far so good.

Next I did a test fire on my Stingray and the coils glowed nicely which gave me the confidence to know all is safe. I wicked the coils with cotton, dripped some juice and gave it another test fire. Wow! I couldn't believe the amount of vapor those coils put out.

I experienced a new joy from my very first vape and I finally have a full appreciation of all the hype about RDAs putting out the best flavor and vapor production.

The Veritas RDA clone/Stingray is a winner for me!

Looks great. I am really looking forward to getting a Veritas. Big said it should be a week (or so) before he gets some more in stock. I know I could go and order one at FastTech, but I wonder if it would get here before the one from Big (I have read very widely varying delivery times from FT in this forum).

I liked the way you used a single piece of Kanthal. I imagine is was very fiddly. How did you do it? Wrap the wire while it was on the device, or just wind it round the positive post (shape it) and take it off again to wrap the coils. I think I might try and replicate what you did when I get mine.

Bic, the hardest part was tightening the wire onto the positive center post, that fiddly, little nut was a bitch! Just when I thought it was secure, it turned out it wasn't and it kept coming off. So I ended up doing a complete wrap around the post and screwed it down tight with small needle-nose pliers. The rest was easy and I just wrapped the coil around the screwdriver and pinched them together a bit. Then I tipped it "over the falls" into the well and secured the end to the negative post. Did the same with the other side and then did a little positioning to make sure the coils didn't touch each other or the positive wall.

Smithereens told me the guy who designed the Veritas is called Faceless and I just followed what he did in this video, a "2 minute" build can you believe.

Nice looking Veritas build PattsV! I'm really want to give that technique a shot soon also. I'm surprised you didn't like the previous Veritas build. I vape mine at 1.5 all day and love it.
