1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

A Billion Lives Makes North American Premiere

A Billion Lives is coming home, and the vaping industry can’t wait.

The award-winning documentary will be making its North American arrival at Pabst Theater, which is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The premiere is set for Saturday, August 6, 2016, and has been welcomed by the vaping community with open arms.

The documentary, which we’ve written about previously and recently was covered by Yahoo! Finance, is controversial in nature. The film revolves around the part that anti-smoking forces, including Big Tobacco and Big Pharmacy, has played in trying to stamp out vaping as an alternative to smoking. And as vaping technology continues to advance and save more lives, the attacks against the industry have become overt.
Over 40 million people worldwide using vaping technology to quit smoking, and the number of smokers turning to vaping continues to rise every day. In response, corporations and conglomerates have been steadily mounting a multi-avenue pronged attack against the growing global perspective that sees the industry in a positive light.

Combined with governments that are in collusion with Big Pharma and Big Tobacco, regulations both here in America and in Europe have been put into place to stop vaping in its tracks.
The result? An estimated billion lives lost because smokers could not get access to affordable vape products. A billion lives that could have been saved, but were essentially sacrificed so that tobacco companies, anti-smoking advocacy groups, Big Pharma and governments can keep the money they’ve made and benefited from through the tobacco industry.

This documentary shows, with facts, figures and interviews, how the anti-vaping coalition has started and continued the misinformation campaign against vaping devices. It also shows the direct relations of these choices have had in the regulation, and in some cases banning, of vape products.
Aaron Biebert, the director and executive producer behind A Billion Lives, traveled the world, visiting four continents and compiling dozens of interviews to showcase just how the hidden forces behind the anti-vaping movement are trying to eliminate it from public consumption.

“As filmmakers, it’s our job to tell the stories that need telling, and give voices to the voiceless, to make our world a better place,” said Biebert of the documentary’s release in North America. “It’s not every day that filmmakers get to tell a story that can change the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. With A Billion Lives, we have that chance and we’re not going to waste it. We’re putting everything we have into making this the defining film for an entire generation to help end the grip smoking has on over a billion people.”

A Billion Lives is an American documentary, with the Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based production co mpany Attention Era Media funding the film. This film has won rave reviews all over the world, including in New Zealand, Poland, and Australia. Take a look at the trailer for the documentary.
