I don't do anything at all. If the cartos feel a bit tough to suck the air through I only rinse them out under the tab, let them dry->done.

Other than that, just keep the contacts clean and dry, don't put them in direct sunlight, don't leave the juice in the cartos for too long unused (gets a bit thick and the taste goes)

Most important for most cartos might be to not vape them completely dry.

If you mix your own then you might notice that some juices 'de-mix' in the carto, different colour/shade. For me, I just bin the stuff and put fresh one in.

I know what I'm going to tell you guys is a little bit weird. But while I was looking around in Thai forum, I saw one guy post how he maintain his battery life. He wrote that he put his batt in a fridge (freeze) for 24 hours then remove it and charge, and that can stretch the batt life. really??? he also tell that he does the same way to DSLR batt too.

Anyway, I don't know it really is the way to stretch a battery life or not, but maybe it might be one tip that you want to try with your nearly dead batt and see how it goes. :rolling laugh:

That's certainly something I'm not gonna try. The cold temporarily reduces the voltage in the bat but when he then charges it it warms up again. I don't know if that is good for the bat.

I've been steaming for roughly 8 months (I kept smoking for 3 months) and haven't had to bin a bat yet, other than those that are dodos out of the box but that can happen. 8 months of life for this kind of bat is good enough for me so I guess I pass on this maintenance.

Most of the people I know have started using ultrasonic baths for cleaning their equipment. Works well with simple bottled water.

Obviously not a good idea with anything electronic but cleans anything solid, Mod cases, Atties including wicks etc with ease and everything gets all shiny again. :very good:

    Here is an example

Ultra 7000 Ultrasonic Cleaner : Ultrasonic Cleaners : Maplin Electronics

You can pretty much put anything without electronics in them. Much mods yes, atties yes, tanks yes, glass yes, jewellery yes, glasses yes, hell i have even cleaned my toothbrush in it.

If you want you can add the likes of Miltons to it and clean hypodermic syringes although i personally would not bother as they are so cheap. Good way to clean empty bottles if you diy your juice though .

They probably make most of them in Thailand

so far i watched 1000000 videos and read lots of things, still feel super noobish

but for cleaning tanks, overall thats the best thing to do

1st Buy the cheapest Wodka you can find
pur it in glass, and put you tanks and parts in there for one hour
    let it dry

    done

The best way to have problem-free tanks is to step up and get an atty or a dripper and all your worries are over.

.apply a little Vaseline to all screw joints on tanks and 510 ..... Makes assembly and disassembly really easy and should stop any "threading." Also, take care of coils and wicking, do a dry coil burn and wash with water once every 3-5 days.

I'm not sure about the electrical conductivity of Vaseline but I would be hesitant to put anything in or on a 510 connector that could cause a short or false ohm reading. This is complete conjecture and I may be wrong but it's just not something I am personally comfortable with.
