    Saw this somewhere else and it was stated that he had loose batteries in his pocket. Never a good idea

    Holy cow - It would be interesting to know what set up he had. There is a good chance there will be a reason on his behalf for that happening. If he had a regulated device and a high quality battery it would be very unlikely to happen.

    The thread I saw on FB made the point that the man himself has said that he had loose batteries in his pocket with loose change yes.

    No idea if that is accurate or not, of course, but that was what was posted.
