1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

Ok, so here's my first question on this forum.
I'm flying from London to Bangkok next Friday (13th) and changing planes in Beijing. What's the latest on security checks in Beijing airport? I'm debating whether or not to have any checked luggage.
Upside of no checked luggage is not having to wait for it in BKK, also it can't get lost by the airline.
Downside is possible problems at the security check in Beijing if I want to bring my e-liquid supply through in my hand luggage.

Anyone done this recently in Beijing?
    Thanks in advance.

We haven't had any recent reports on transiting through Beijing but since vaping is legal in China, you shouldn't have any problems. Just be aware that as of late last year, the import & sale of vape gear and juice has been banned in LOS. If you get selected for secondary scanning when coming through TH Customs, just emphasize that this is your personal gear/juice for use during your stay here. We've had that happen to the carry-on luggage of a couple of members...TH Customs were very curious but allowed everything in.

PS - vaping is legal here...just be aware of your surroundings and don't blow big clouds when you're indoors.

Thanks I've brought gear and liquid through Thai customs before with no problems. I was just curious about Beijing. Still not made my mind up about having checked baggage or not, but leaning towards bringing a small suitcase and putting most of my juice in there.
I think I'm right in saying that batteries now can't be in checked luggage? So they'll have to be in my carry-on.

^^^ That's what we've read...loose batteries and mods with integral batteries must be in carry-on luggage.

AFAIK, ecigs are still legal in China so you shouldn't have any issues. However, due to the current vaping situation here (see the FAQ's), you might want to consider packing the mod (without batteries) in checked luggage & putting the batteries in your carry-on so arrival into Thailand goes smoothly. I travel with a small 18650 flashlight so a few spare batts doesn't attract any attention. :)

I got it today from FT ( the cheap one: 280 lumen).
aluminum body and 510 connector but spring cooper+.
No connection on istick 100 and kp box 30: 0 ohm ?
as "Siam Diesel"write, not as FT return.
beautiful, efficient on a mod mecha, will be perfect in the car or traveling.
