I wonder if it's a problem with certain atty's on 'em?
Similar to the burn-out I had when my Clouper Hana DNA30 (V1 or V2 with the larger connector pins) with the Kanger Mega tank on top ...

It shouldn't be, should it! My DNA30 mods work just fine as do all my ProVari's...my VF seems to be ok except for the non-functioning battery meter...which is a known problem with the early DNA40 chips. I don't need high wattage but I understand the frustration for those that do.

PS - V, glad it wasn't your C-Mini that gave it up!

To make things worse my istick has decided to give me a shock if I try passthrough, I don't normally and Im not sure it does, I just got distracted after I plucked it in and took a hit off it.

Oh I would definitely say so as I have certain combinations that do no not cooperate very well together. That's both mechanical and regulated.

Love regulated mods with the control and consistency in vape (not always but usually) but also love the raw performance of a good mechanical and control of the vape on them by way of my own coil builds....as opposed to button settings with regulated mods.

Some devices I've never even attempted to mate as I know, or am at least fairly certain, they are not well suited together (performance/capacity/capability). In other cases its only because of aesthetics that I do not join them.

Truth is that there are so many good options out there right now compared to when I started (and that hasn't been long at all compared to many others members here!). Unless I am gifted out of nowhere with a big hunk of additional free-time to research and address problems/shortcomings with a particular device, I feel I'm probably better off moving on to a different one that's very well regarded by the community. Just don't have the time I used to! :(

Anyway, thankfully, I've been fortunate in matching what I want and like with what has been available and am quite content these days. That hasn't always been the case in the past and doesn't mean there aren't any different devices I'd love to spend money on today! :)

Im now getting a shock from my istick when its pluged in, not a big one but does make me wonder if it will charge or go bang, best not to leave it unattended.

All I want is a regulated mod that wont give me problems so I can vary my wattage a little for different flavour, times of day, alcohol consumtion, its not too much to ask lol. back to 0.5-0.8 ohm coils and my mecks. At least my Cloupor mini has landed in Thailand so ill have that to piss me of next week lol.

notice the spring loaded connector on the Kanger Subtanks now ...

I'm very happy using the Aspire Sub-Ohm & CF mods in my rotation at present with the Atlantis tanks and Kanger Subtank - work like they were made for each other ... just saying
    **Updated**
I got a small 'shock' off my toaster oven the other day (and have done on a few other household electrical devices in the past too) ...

When will the local Electrical Authority/'Engineers' (haha, that's a joke) learn about providing proper earthing on devices here ?

It might save a lot of electrical accidents even...
(notice how most products don't even come with and earth 'pin' with the plugs ? ... if it weren't for circuit breakers in most places we'd all be toast sooner or later)

I doubt that your istick is converting the 5 volts input to high voltage on its own, my guess is your charger aint grounded or the ground wire aint on a long cobber pipe in the ground.

It was indeed a problem with the charger, most are only 2 pin so not grounded. The charge failed today so the problems in the bin. At least my istick is charging again so I have more options than my mechanical mods when my 300usd Vapor flask is rejecting its batterys. I emailed VapinArt 3 days ago about my VF problems and still no answer.
