Anyway, I was just ranting, I'm not suggesting people stop buying from them but if more people said "fcuk you, I want my refund" they would have no choice but to force factories to step up QC or change their return policy.

I am expecting I will have to open a PayPal dispute now to get a refund, which will be best for them because if they ask me to ship the items back to them they will be going via the most expensive way possible. As long as it's less than $40

 

It used to be that the best possible price was to be found on Fasttech. That isn't the case, and you can see significant discounts at other places. It also used to be that Fasttech was the only Chinese operation that had easy return and warranty policies. That isn't the case any more either. It's a case of a scrappy young company resting on its laurels after its established itself.

 

Just send them a letter from Thai customs saying it was seized

@kevin bangkok Maybe not overly worried, but I would not be happy with anything installed on my computer without my consent. If you are like most people you are using your machine for a diversity of things, and every app, every add-on is a potential opening for trapping private info.

FT are going to find out the hard way that you do not treat customers like they do now. They got too big too fast , but they can quickly go the other way when some disappointed customers start warning other people about their products and the way they treat people with some issues.
You know many Chinese never learn and they think totally different that westerners, so if you are not very good at picture language dont bother with them, because it is like talking to a door..
