Interest in a Pattaya Meet-up this month.

An earlier time on Sunday, 31st at 1pm is okay by me too so it seems we're all in agreement.

Yes V you're right, it's Soi Diana that you're thinking of and there's a nice hotel called Areca Lodge but I'm not up on room prices. The Sawasdee Hotel in Soi Buakhao is quite nice too and they have breakfast and dinner buffets.

Rich Bar is nothing special, it's a quiet and unassuming place and nobody bothers you. Your family would be bored there and there's not much for them to do around Soi Buakhao as you probably know. I'd suggest that you walk them to Central Festival before the Meet as it's only a 10-15 minute walk away. It's a beautiful shopping mall with lots of eating places, shops and cinema. Also across the street from the mall is Pattaya Beach where they could stroll or sit in deck chairs under umbrellas and just chill out with a cold drink and watch the sunset.

If you'd like I could meet you earlier at your hotel and walk with you and your family to Central and then we could walk back to Soi Buakhao. Just a little bit of exercise because I don't think you'd want to send them off on a motorbike taxi.

It would be really great if you could make it to the Meet-up, we'd all be very happy to have "the main man" join us.

 

Thats fine, iam not a big drinker myself, at the last meet up we drank 2 or 3 beers, nothing wild, when pattsvapor and i meet at rich's bar i drank a coke or 2

 

Then you'll have company V because I stopped drinking 25 years ago. The last beer I had was at the Meet-up last May and I had it over ice mixed with Sprite, in OZ they call it a Shandy but it might be called something else in the UK, I forget.

 

So we are all agreed, the new start time for the Meet-up is 1 pm.

With about a week to go I was beginning to think that interest in the Pattaya Meet-up was starting to wane and out of the blue our fearless Leader, V is going to grace us with his presence and Thailand Vapers' Super Guru, Ryan may be in attendance too! Very appropriate since it was Ryan who first touted the praises of his trusty Vapor Shark at the last Pattaya Meet-up. Now V and SD will be showing off their brand-spanking, new Vapor Sharks at the Meet-up to make us drool.

What do you think Mash? This is great news man. Your suggestion of another Meet-up is bearing fruition and who knows who else may show up unannounced.

 

Looking forward to seeing some of you there. Any giveaways or prizes for something like a cloud chasing contest or fastest coil building? Just kidding! It'll be nice just to hang out, meeting and putting some faces to avatars and forum names.

Oh and I just thought about that vaping convention in Texas where someone's mod blew up...cloud chasing contests are not something I'm really interested in though I do like lots of vapor production.

Seems like you guys are going to have a great time. I wish I could be there and become more involved. Mrs Rowdy said she will go. Here is her picture just so you know when she arrives, She has been trying to get a job as one of the local "Beer Girls"

Ha-ha! Not sure you will be seeing me produce anything particularly impressive - I think my lungs are still pretty shot from all the years of smoking but they are most certainly getting better. I'm so glad to have been able to get off of them.
