If you charge your iStick 30w once every day it should last a year which is not bad considering the price of the device. In a year you may be tempted to change it anyway.

As for comparaison it seems the evic VT has a lot of problems and I see a bunch of people complaining already about it. On the other hand the box from Kanger works as intended, plus you have the rebuildable option that is not included in the evic.

The eVic uses the Mega tank which takes the CLR coils which are rebuildable

I have an unbreakable bond with Kanger since I stop stinkies with a Mini Protank 3. I don't buy their products anymore but I still cherish that brand and which them the best of success.

Always happy to see them releasing something new, even with its imperfections.

I think your very lucky to get a year out of a box mod, I have 4 that have lasted between a few days and 4 months that includes 2 isticks, cloupor mini and a Smowell that the button fell off after a few days.

VF original on the other had has had its problems but still going after 7 months.

Supposedly, but I imagine it's a lot longer than 2 weeks away.

My CANA box (Cloupor) is still going after almost 2 years, the 510 is bad but if I change it I can still use it like day one.

Like everything it is a matter of luck, batch quality and usage.....

My Cana is always going strong after a year, not even a sign of weakness.

IPV2 isn't so well but I really did not took care of it so still amazed it is alive.

I agree, but for the million or so vapers that have been at it for a few years there are tens of millions who will buy vape gear like we used to.

And to be honest, I don't see much difference in quality and longevity between most Chinese and America/European made mods.
