Here is my Atlantis base when changing the coil after about 2 weeks. I use a golden brown liquid, you can see the seal that was originally white. Not much juice in the base.
Edit: Picture is missing, I'll add it later.

    Worked this time.

I used my imagination from your excellent description and I can see it clearly as it might have been if there were a real photo.

I solved the problem by replacing the clearomizer to another brand. The Kanger mod works great but the clearomizer supplied just did not make it for me. I wound up using one from Smok.

I used to get small leaks in the beginning too and did some reading to solve the problem.

It's all to do with refilling technique. I bought this expressly for top fill so it has to work that way for me.

Anyway here's what I do and I have no leaks since….when using new SSOCC coils it's time to refill when liquid level starts to get below half the 2 large wicking holes.

Close off airflow first…..remove top cap, fill but leave a few mm space for air at the top. Then put on the top cap and spin it to just lightly catch the threads, invert and tighten completely. Then open airflow up and invert again….the only thing that will exit the air holes now will be air and not juice and a vacuum will be created in the top chamber of your top tank.

I love this tank and can't wait to start building on the rba deck.

kangertech stuff is total waste of money nothing ive ever had lasted very long. Just tossed out that "dripbox" thing. Now i know why they supply TWO squeeze tanks. They eventually BOTH crack open. Waste of money.

I've had good luck with their temperature control mod but I would agree about their other components.

I used the 1.6 with the Aspire then eventually changed to a Smok TFV4 using their 1.2 coil in termperature mode on the Kanger mod. That is where I got the best results but it is a personal matter of personal preference. I still find the Kanger mod very good for my use although I have others as well.

I've had the Kanger topbox mini for about a month and 1/2, It made it quite easy for me to stop smoking my pipe and just use the vape. I've had problems trying to use the RBA deck, the e liquid leaks out the bottom air vent. I purchased 2 new new Kanger RBA's and just tried one out and again it leaked so I just ordered a new Vaporesso Gemini RTA tank because I'd like to make coils rather than order atomizers. I've read this thread, tried a bottom fill, it seems to me that liquid is heavier than air and will flow out the bottom but all their atomizers seem to work. I wouldn't mind being able to get a little more flavor out of the Kanger, it would be nice if the liquid didn't ruin the coils but over all it has lots of nice features.

Using mine for 2 months now, filling it up by the top 3 times a day (yes, I am vaping a lot), and never met any leakage problem... Maybe, it is a question of production batch, some good some no good? For info, I have a black one.

Mine only leaks when using the RBA deck, all the atomizers work fine, at this time I'm thinking it is my wicking causing the problem, I've watched a few YouTube vids on wicking and will try it again.

Mod, I am not sure if this thread is multiple, but please remove if it is. I have been searching via google, youtube, forums, etc. I read that some has this problem, some don't. How do we exactly solve this problem? I noticed that if the juice I used is too watery, it will tend to leak out from the airflow base. It seemed like the cotton doesn't really hold the watery juice, and it will flow through the cotton, and down to the airflow holes. I am using the given coil in the kit. What do you guys suggest? Change the coil?

Can we actually dismantle the airflow base and clean it?

When you say watery juice, how much do you mean exactly ? Even with 20/80 VG/PG juice, it should work properly in theory...

A friend had the same problem with SSOCC and now uses only OCC coils (which were meant for the Subox but, according to some people, work better).

Well, when I say watery.. The juice is not that thick as the other juices I vaped. I'm suspecting that the seller added water to it. From the official website of the juice I'm vaping right now, the ratio is 50/50
