    There is hope that the FDA is coming around to seeing vaping as beneficial, and it comes in the form of Mitch Zeller, the director of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Center for Tobacco Products.

    CASAA and some of the other organizations are really making a difference. As more and more US citizens who are vapers follow the calls to action, I think we are starting to make our presence known. We have shut down the phone lines for White House on two occasions and are at least being noticed by law makers. We still have to compete with big tobacco and big pharma money but there is strength in numbers. Here is the latest response I received from my congressman just a few days ago.

    Not necessarily...if the Agricultural Appropriations Bill passes with the amendment to the grandfather date, things get a wee bit better.

    I still think even if the amendment passes, the taxes that can be imposed are going to be the major killer. This is, of course, early speculation but I can't see it going any other way. Now that it is classified by the FDA, the taxation can begin.
