The Maker of Vuse E-Cigs Is Lobbying to Ban Vaping (Updated)

Not very surprising but a nice read anyhow.

Below a statement from a cigarette manufacturer

"We believe open-system vapor products create unique public health risks. These systems are highly subject to adulteration and tampering," a Reynolds rep told the Journal.

Then why do we not ban vuse E-cigs and the new Reynolds cancer sticks, or whatever They are called. I guess it's crap anyway

 

The cigarette companies should have looked at the music industry (mp3). You can't fight technology you just have to find a different way to profit on it. RJ Reynold made the mistake of making there own e-cig (Vuse). It would have been better to buy out companies that already produce e-cigs than waste the money on build there own.

 

Priceless to see a tobacco company using the public health risk card.

 

they aren't lobbying to ban vaping just open systems like kayfuns and clearos....they make pen style e-cigs and they want to write the code for the FDA and that would make only that style of device legal. Unfortunately they are fuckwits with a lot of money and political pull. Personally I would be happy to see every big tobacco exec dragged from their offices and executed on public television....it might remind people of the millions of their best customers they killed.
