1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.
Are you looking to get started or an old hand at vaping? Everyone is welcome here so sign up today and talk vaping with us!

LOL! A powerful argument for going the 24 mg once in a while vape....if I had tits to squeeze (woe my life at the moment), I'd at least think about it. In the meantime rockin' without regard to juice usage but that's squelched a good hunk because of my workload here during high-season!

Now, now, dissing Egos, is like saying I don't like the Beatles but I like Oasis, come on, without the one you would never have the other.
If that makes sense I'm amazed, I've had far too many beers.

Have to disagree on that point...if sub ohm vaping was all there was I'd still be on stinkies...tried it and just don't like it.

Me, too, but I don't think that was what he was agreeing to, because I never said that.

Not that I don't like Sub-Ohm, I must have spent most of the last year doing it, but it doesn't seem to like me.

True--I have made use of the single coil option on a few tanks and dropped my watts right down--they all work fine--I've just had a 'Senior Moment' recently, and gone back to Stock coils--might not last, but it seems like my oral condition has improved--not totally sure, but maybe.

May I please approach the bench your honor,

"Haybilly is right on, same as Darth. ( I felt what Darth and Haybilly wrote was right on) . the only way I broke the desire to stop smoking was with sub ohm vaping ( I am stating that what worked for me personally with a new sentence, but I re read it and I do see how it sounds)

    Right! ;)

I get that people like different things, different things work for different people, I can respectfully agree with that. Subohm is what did it for me.

Coming from ego pens and then to a subohm, the vape was more intense for me, and preferred the delivery that way. Made me not want to smoke stinky squares again

I never know, I might one day very well make the transition back to single coils, stock coils and 1.-- something ohms, not anytime soon though boys, I love the dual , sub ohms right now and think I will be this way for a long time.

@Constantine , love what you wrote, has a flow to it, almost like a poem, great writing ... Been researching mostly hardware, so far, so software, I still dunno all that much ... Apart from it should taste good and have plenty of nic in it ! ... So informative on juice/software front, will experiment with steeping juices that don't work, rather than chucking out ...

@haybilly , wow, dunno if I'll ever have as much hardware, enough to start your own vape club or store, and not much worries if vaping gets banned completely ... Time and money both poor on personally, not sure what next purchase will be hardware wise, prolly something in aspire or Uwell ... Kanger is working well for me, so far ...

@kevin bangkok , shinny things, yup, certainly a worry, luckily I did a lot of my buying over Xmas, so made up for being grown up and no one buying me Xmas presents anymore ! ... And also, if one is not killing oneself one cancer stick at a time, does it really matter how much one spends on vape gear ?

@all, a friend has helped me out with some nic base concentrate, so I'm in the first instance gonna try and nic up existing juices a little. Then later when I get round to ordering pg and VG, some DIY juice ...

Nic levels, I think this is a personal equation, like some people smoke silk cut and others woodbines. Or some on one cup of piss coffee a day, and others on 17 cups of high strength rocket fuel. Certainly if it's gonna help cut smoking out, then I'll try higher and lower nic levels. So I don't think one size fits all.

As for cutting out smoking completely, personally I don't want to put too much pressure on myself. I work better if I do stuff in my own time and pace, with the occasional falling off the wagon. Main thing is that I'm making a continual and concerted go at stopping smoking, which I am. I know that shit will kill me sooner rather than later, and I want out.

With kanger as my only test equipment for ohm vs sub-ohm, my personal conclusion is that sub-ohm, I seem to get a more satisfying vape with both RBA and pre made 0.5 coils. I like the extra watts, which sometimes seem to bring out flavour in juice that's lost at lower watts, and vice versa, higher watts with some juice is too hot, so can turn it down ... The kanger ohm coil just wasn't as satisfying, and I didn't enjoy having airflow resticted, it was one of the main things I didn't like about my CE4 clones ... With the sub-ohm, I can also turn down power and airflow, if I want to vape more economically (I think ?) ... Within all this 200w and sixteen coils doesn't appeal, one coil at 20-40w watts provides a pretty satisfying experience ... Even with Chinese juices ...

Within that I know I don't know everything, and haven't tried everything, so, I can't say one is preferable to the other, period, more what my experience is right now. Which I won't deny is fairly limited. As time goes on, I will I'm sure try more things, and who knows where that might lead, isn't that a magical thing in life, mystery of the unknown ...
