Nattiboy, sorry when you got confused. Lets take it from the beginning, the coil you have is a short wick around that is a heating thread, and unless you can rebuild the coil, then you have to buy a new coil. There are 2 different tank types. One kind has the coil on top near the mouthpiece/driptip and they have long wicks to suck the e-juice up to the heating thread. The other kind have the heating coil near the bottom of the tank and they have a very short wick like yours, because gravity make sure there is always e-juice enough. What we or I tried, was to find out which coil would fit your tank. And my best shot was, that the evod coil also would fit into your tank. The company Kanger makes a minitank, who also uses coils similar to the one in your picture and x9 is the name of a bigger tank using the same coils. X10 is only the name of yet another tank. Since I can't identify your tank, or the company behind it, but I can see that the coil is similar to the ones used in the tanks I linked too. My guess is therefor that you might try an evod coil first.

Just to let you guys know. I ordered Kanger coils. They fit, but are tight in the plastic tube.
I'm going to buy a kanger protank with dual coils. Am i correct in thinking the dual coils will create more vapour?

Yes Nattiboy, you are correct the dual coils produce more vapour. Sorry I can't recommend a Kanger Protank 3 with dual coils. I have one that is leaking and gurgling like hell. My guess is that the coils with the very tiny pins are the weak point, but at the moment the tank is just useless.

Micky just got the Aspire dual coil tank also in glass, and then there still is like the iClear 30S, the aspire is only 280 Bath, not to expensive. That is something I can recommend, since I have some and they just work, but I would keep my fingers of the Kanger Protank 3.

my first coil worked great, i changed it and got all the problems, i did fix it but it should work out of the box, the way i fixed it was that i added and extra wick(3 mm) over the coils, works now but get a dry hit sometimes so i think a 2mm wick will work better, i seen that thay got a new version of the coils now, maybe thay work better without modding them.:vaping:

Then its either time to clean the coil, or set the volatge/wattage a little bit higher.

i think the coils that came with the kit are a bit crap to be honest. i just put a new kanger coil it and its about 50% more vapour on the lowest battery setting compared with the highest setting and old coil. id still like to know how to clean them though please.
