1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

Thanks that helps a lot--Im finally starting to figure this out--almost. Still not clear on what are heads and how often they fail and what needs to be replaced/bought when head fails. Is it the whole tank needs replacing??

    No not the whole tank.

The head is the piece, inside the tank, that contains the wicks, for soaking up the juice from the tank and bringing it to the coils, so that it can be vaporized. They are basically one complete unit but, with some, you can replace the wicks and coils yourself without replacing the whole head. Not hard, I am told, but can be time consuming. Also a bit cheaper.

Otherwise you replace the whole head. On Mikys site, here on the forum, when you look at the thread for the tank you want/have he generally has the price for complete replacement heads. Around 100B for most I think.

As for the heads failing, there is no definitive answer to that. Juice used, initial construction, volts/watts/ used when vaping, mistakes made when cleaning and other things as well I am sure, contribute to the failure of a head. There is no way to tell. Regular cleaning of the coils will help though as the juice build up is removed and so there is a reduced risk of the coils getting too hot and failing.

Could be days, could be weeks. I have seen post's here from people that have a head go every few days and others from people with the exact same type of head say they can last them for weeks. That is where the type of juice is thought to come in to the equation. I would suggest keeping a few spare heads in supply just in case though. The part of the head that goes, in general, is the coil.
