I miss the time when we did not have so much info about the upcoming games. Nowadays unless you buy the game on the release day and manage to stay in a cave until then, you will see a lot of it already.

And if you buy it 3 days later, you know all the walkthrough are available online already thanks to a 12 years of Chinese kid who finish the game in an afternoon. Less surprises and therefore less excitement for me to get into it.

I also used to spend a lot of time in the Arcades mostly playing Sega Games which were the hype back in the 90's. Sega Rally and Daytona USA are probably the reason my parents never got to renovate the beach house and why the Arcade owner renovated his..

When these games arrived on the Sega Saturn, I has to make a choice between my education or a Nascar career. My mother did not approve the latest, but I was so close of becoming the new Jeff Gordon.

Have you guys tried "Legend of Grimrock"
It is kind of old school dungeon crawler (RPG, 3D-Grid base). Full of puzzle, choice of role play and simple Gameplay style.

I did play on Stream. But it is also available on some Console as well.
I finish this game more than twice. And always plant to finish it again if I have free time.
(At first play I can finish around 70% without walk-through. If you are fluent in English, you will enjoy more stories from hints in the game)
    :very good:

Never heard of it, but everything with puzzle/RPG in it usually doesn't do it for me. Like when Dune was released, never understood the hype for it.

Something I did play within the last year on PC was season 1 & 2 of 'The Walking Dead' because my daughter liked to watch me play it and make the decisions for me. She really liked the story (we watch the TV show) and cried for about ten minutes at the end of season one lol

If a game does not make me stand up during a fight scene, that's not a game I should play.

Remember the finish in Mario Kart or Street Fighter. When sh*t gets real, we stand up :)

As for my self, I am a Console Gamer since nes, Owned every console since then

Love survival horror games when its done right! do you guys remember resident evil for the first time on ps1 .... oh boy

For PC: loved Doom2 quake 2 online ... ROCKET JUMP for the win!! grab the quad! Kingpin. I played Quake 3 for a bit. Borderlands 1 and 2

I cant wait for doom 4 on PS4

Played a few MMO's World of Warcraft and Diablo 2

Love arcades, Street fighter 2 , Street Fighter alpha, Street fighter 3rd strike, Marvel vs Capcom ,Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat much more

    Currently own a PS4 , PS3 , PSP, Xbox 360 , Old Xbox,Game Cube , PC .
(Just Playing PS4 , and occasionally the PC when ever the missus is not on there with her candy crush and farmville. The rest of the consoles are just sitting haven't played them in ages)

Only playing the PS4, (tons of beaten games just stacking on shelf) Being trolled by BloodBorne at the moment. Will be getting Battlefront and Fallout 4 next

Btw I loved Until Dawn on PS4 with the whole butterfly effect, Great story and characters. Definitely Re playable. Interesting outcomes from the decisions you make.

I think Until Dawn is superb and unique in its genre but boy it is slow !!! I also crap my pants every 5 minutes but that's another story. It reminds me of Heavy Rain (PS3) which was acclaimed as well, even though it can only suits a certain kind of gamer. I played a couple of hours but I really did not like it.

The fixed angle camera is a pain in 2015.. I mean how could I loved it in Resident Evil 1 ?!?! Oh wait... it was a pain back then too ^^

Oh and my advice, if you have a girlfriend/wife or an inch of social life that you care for, do NOT buy Star Wars Battlefront. If you are a Star Wars fan, it's the worst(for your career)/best(for yourself) thing you can buy.

Resident Evil's on the PS1 were the best (and code Veronica on the Dreamcast).
A couple of years ago I downloaded the RE1 remake for the Gamecube to play on the Wii because I found RE5 so shit :D

I haven't played any games since starting this thread but would happily buy a PS4 or Xbox one (I'm not fussy) when one of them gets a custom firmware ;)

Agreed, It was unique , hahah yea I did panic, jump, and yelled out every single curse word I knew plenty of times playing it. I replayed it twice for the endings.. God dam that therapist in game for tapping into my fears! Reminds me I got to go back and try to get that everybody survives ending lol. I also played heavy rain for a few hours, than just looked up the ending on youtube lol.
Did not think heavy rain was that great at all.

LOL!!!!!!! I know right @ fixed camera angle

ahah at your warning and advice, it makes me want to play it even more now haha .I plan on it !! I will cut all my ties to this world ,probably never see the sun again for a good amount of time. Well, Just got to kick the missus of the TV and tell her go watch her 8:30 pm - 10:00pm stupid soap operas on the computer.

    @Rick O-Shea

Agreed! I knew I was in trouble in Code Veronica in that Cut Scene where Alexia Just slapped Wesker like it was nothing, Still remember that cut scene to this day

2 things that I was enjoyable about RE5

    1) Mercenaries playing as Wesker,

    2) The cut scene he where Wesker is the only person that will slap an incoming missile heading for him with out removing his glasses

I'm betting X box one gets the CFW first. It took ages on the ps3
