Great info @Scratchy . Have been looking at this one and were wondering a little about the wicking / leaking. I seem to remember that some reviewers talked about the Billow v1 and that it could be a little temperamental in the wicking.

I decided to take a trip into the big city today and head for Platinum mall. It's funny that you can ask a host of people in that pace where the ecig shop is and no one knows.
Anyway, after following Scractchy's directions I found it and was pleasantly surprised to find a nice young lady (probably Jimmy's wife) who was very helpful. They had a good selection of beginner vape gear, but didn't have any TC mods or a subtank mini that I was hoping to buy.
They had both the Zephyrus and the Billow V2 and I chose the latter, mostly because it was more aeshetically pleasing.

I've never had a dual coil build so, I was pleasantly surprised to find some pre-made coils in the box. The deck is really easy to work on, the quality is excellent and after watching VF I managed to get a build of 0. 3 ohms.
I filled it to the top and it's been on 30 watts without any leaking or the normal teething problems you get with new attys.

The vapor production is way more than my Lemo 2 and the flavor seems to be a lot smoother. The draw is airier than the Lemo 2 and I've only got it half way open and I'm really happy with it.

The only problem I have .... is that I didn't buy 2 of them, but then it's a good reason to go back there at the end of the month when they have a lot of new stock.

Glad everything worked out well and you are enjoying the tank FL! After vaping on my first one, within minutes I knew I was going to buy another copy and later did so. :)

It's strange that ( and this is a bit off topic) I've ordered cinnamon roll twice form Mack and on both occasions the experience has left my throat a little tender. After letting it steep for a few weeks I can't tell any difference between it and MBV cinnamon roll and I wish I had ordered more.

Loving the taste and the vapor from the Billow. It will have a permanent place on my iStick 50w when I start TC vaping. All we need now is some bright spark to show us how we can vape TC using dual coils

I didn't want to start a thread on this because it's just a simple question.

Is there any reason why I can't make a dual coil nickel build on a Billow mod and use it in temperature control mode?

I read somewhere that you can't use dual coil nickel builds because it can't read the temperature of the coils

You'd have to make 2 Ni200 coils with sufficient resistance so that when they're installed, together they read higher than the minimum resistance level of the mod you're using...maybe @Scratchy or @Rick O-Shea have more info.

Try this calculator...you can set it for dual Ni200 coils. Suspect you'll need some 'higher resistance' Ni200 wire (maybe 30 gauge or 32 gauge) to make this work...

You may struggle depending on the size of the deck and the lowest resistance your mod goes down to @fruit-lover

^^^ You might have better luck with a single twisted Ni200 coil or a twisted Ni200/Kanthal coil...someone else will have to fill in the details on this...
