Dual 24 AWG 7/6 coming in at .28 ohms. Hits like a train, even with 6mg nicotine. Great flavor and plenty of vapor, but I might need to drop my nicotine down to 3mg if I make any more coils like this. Mind you, I vape 18mg on my Kayfuns.

    That's a Trident Ryan?

How do you find 24/26/28 compare for flavour?

Yup, Trident clone from Big By-pass.

I'm still pretty partial to 28 AWG for most of my coils, but mainly because it is so easy to work with. 24 and 26 are kind of a pain to coil, they are very rigid. Flavor wise, this coil on the Trident is giving me a bit more flavor than dual parallel 28 AWG, but pretty close. The wire stays hot for a long, long time after you stop firing. I may try 24 on my Storm-A (which has been drilled out to 6 2mm holes) as there are a few wicking setups I'd like to try with 24. I'd also like to get the ohms down to between .15 and .20, but as I said I'm probably going to have to lower the nic for that.

I pre ordered the Storm A from Big by-pass already, just gonna wait till he has the Efest Batteries again, but i am really curious about it. I am recently totally into drippers, and i barely like the taste of kayfuns and others anymore. Today just out of the mailbox the 3D arrived

so i set it up as Dual Coil, cause it doesnt have a 510 i cant measure my Ohms,
but i did 9 wraps with 0.25 Kanthal each

    IMG_6474[1].JPG
was my first setup there, dont like it all over too much yet, but getting the dual coils in place was so fiddly that i am currently not eager to do it again LOL
    IMG_6475[1].JPG
the taste is great, the vapor not too much, which i kinda miss.
The unique refilling sounds is great, thou

.... several days later .... i cant be the last one who posted in here, i am preparing the pics for my next built as we speak

here is my latest cutie, the Aqua which is basially a dual coil Kayfun, and i said that several times already i highly recommend this atty to every Kayfun lover!!!

    0.32 Kanthal A1
    1.2 Ohm

    IMG_6476[1].JPG
    IMG_6478[1].JPG

The Taste and Vape of it is outstanding althoug this atty was quite a few disadvantages i always having issues with ....

    cons
-the vaping chambers are tiny, hence the coil setup is a pain
    - on normal setup you never know when the bugger is empty (PMMA tanks now available at FT)
    - on refilling it always leaks for the next few minutes
    - on opening for refilling it often happens that chimney gets unscrewed as well, which requires at complete dismantling then

    pros
    - adjustable airflow control without the need of a screwdriver
    - dual coil kayfun delivers imho way better taste

    - - - Updated - - -

after a few days of usage i figured flavor on the Lotus Tricoil is still unbeatable, however there is no real difference in squeezing your juice down the toilet or using this atty, i never seen a atty which eats more juice in shorter time then this one. So if you wanna use up a ugly juice quickly get this built :D

    OK I'll play Oi l :)

Stove Top Coil. copied from beardy rip trippers. He said it would punch me in the face but I found it mellow/coo-ishl/flavorsome tbh. I also found it a lot easier to build than I expected.

    Dual 28AG. 0.4 ohms. Trident

Not sure if you're saying you have a video OR you want a video.

I mostly copied the beardy one

Stove Top Coil Build - YouTube

If I did it again I might tape the inside end of the wire onto the syringe to make it easier to get tension.

Also although I did the forst 3 wraps the same as Rip, I did the 4th and the 5th using tweezers as well to hold the coil flat.

But as I said: a lot easier than you might think :)

LOL, i believed i am quite good already with coils but the stove coil is impossible for me to built, may impossible to be built on german syringes thou, but i used up a half meter of wire already, and i officially gave up on the stove coil, looks interesting thou

    - - - Updated - - -

i am crushed now, after the stove coil failure i tried the Hurrican Coil, was a major failure too, then i thought i ll give the Inception coil a shot .... no comments
... might just not be my coiling day

I think everyone has sessions like that. I have days where I can do anything and days where I can't get a microcoil working in a Kayfun/.

Very first Kayfun build following Beardy's tutorial. I think about 8 wraps of 28 kanthal coming out at 1.3 ohms. Quite pleased with the result. Don't know if I made any big errors on the build but it seems to produce plenty of vapor and more flavor than I'm used to. No leaks or such as yet so all good. Much fidlier than I was expecting though.

The Kayfun itself I have an issue with the 510 connection. It will not screw onto my Nemisis. 1 turn then locks. Every other tank will screw onto the nemi and the Kayfun will screw onto my other mods no problem. Quite bizarre and annoying. Initial thoughts was maybe the Kayfun needs some time and work to wear in the threads a bit but it doesn't even feel close.

( Edit - The above maybe better in technical issues? ) To keep the coil porn thread cleaner. :)
