but the outer in the plated are is big, you need to move it accordingly to the inner ones, otherwise the airholes would be blocked or to small, the big air hole is 2 mm i can hardly imagine you need more air then that?

You made me laugh a little bit there. Maybe I've been pushing things a bit too far lately, but my Trident clone has 2.5mm airholes and I'm drilling them out to 3mm next time I rebuild it. I picked up the Magma clone from Big today and drilled out the airholes to 2.5mm and put 2 24AWG 5/4 coils in it coming out to .20 ohms, and 2.5mm isn't big enough to keep the coils cool (around 75 watts!). I'm going to have to recoil it to somewhere around .3 ohms. The Trident is the only thing I have right now that has a chance of handling a really really crazy build.

Honestly, 75 watts is really really hot, it gets pretty hard to take a long lung draw off of it. I'm thinking my sweet spot is right around 55 for dual coils.

Magma clone? Nice. Do you know if he has more? How much was it?

Edit: Nevermind, I see it now on his ecigthailand shop

i never watched it from the viewpoint that if the vape is getting to hot i would need a bigger airhole, i just did let it cooldown :D

It isn't the atomizer getting too hot, it's the coil. Without enough airflow the coils will overheat and start to burn the juice.

Oh, ok, I didn't realize the name was the "Variant". Yes, I do need one of those.

My Magma is working nicely at .38 ohms, dual 26AWG 6/5 on a 2mm drill bit. Airflow is spot on, drilled out to 2.5mm. Also, some pics of the cotton for VM.

I'm looking forward to trying a Magma sometime soon. How is the taste?

The air holes and juice wells look promising. I also like how the 2 post design will allow the coils to be positioned in the centre, as opposed to how it is on a 3-post atty. With my trident's 3 post design, it bugs me how the cotton on one side of my coil touches the inside of the top-cap allowing juice to accumulate there. Oh, and that dome inside is interesting also.

Taste is really good, but honestly I can push my Trident harder than the Magma. It's nice to have that juice capacity though. I can get around 7-10 good pulls before I have to juice up again. It is super easy to build on too, which is nice. The only issues with it were that I had to drill out the vertical holes and the drip tip hole is a bit small, half of my drip tips won't fit it.
