Tips for making a 2 Strand Twisted Build without a drill.

Before I had a drill I used to..

Take a strand of 26 or 28 gauge wire about 6 inches (15.24 cm) Fold it in half. Take the end that does not have the fold and twist the ends together to make a place to hold for the pliers.
The end that has a loop goes around the pen's clip on the cap. (see photo below) Hold the pen with your dominant hand, hold the pliers with your other hand very tight. Spin the pen clockwise, keep spinning until you get the desire effect( I always spin until the loop snaps off the pens cap) You want to hold the pliers and pen far apart and very tight as you twist.


If your hand gets tired then you can roll it on your pant leg or knee with your hand flat and moving your palm in a forward motion.
















You can do this with 24 gauge.. It is a pain in the ass to do it with out a drill.

Just read this again and decide to really simplify it.

To reduce ramp up time reduce the metal mass in the coil by using thinner gauge wire or less wraps of the same wire.

To reduce overall temperature add mass to the coil to increase the ohms, and the opposite to increase the temperaure over all.

Clouds high surface/contact area low ohms

Flavour lower temperature lower airflow high surface area/contact area

Bit of both somewhere in between the two.

So here is the video that i followed to make my version of micro clapton zipper

And since i dont have any major problems with doing micro claptons this was an easy to follow build for me..
If you try it and run into any problems let me know and i´ll try and give you some helpfull tips

 

For compeering Its like rebuilding an original mort in a Volvo 240... I Like Claptons and twisted, But I don't use it as my Kanthal and Nicrome saves me a lot of juice and battery and still delivers a wonderful taste.. Its a work of art this Clapton, twisted, and fused what ever.. After experimenting I found there is no need for this for me.. I get plenty of flavor and vape and I'm sub ohming at a subtank mini or whatever on a single strand of wire.
This goes for my rta`s with dual coils as well. IMO

 

Well we are all same same but diffrent, and thats OK.. But if you like flavor try a Transformer coil, If you dont like to vape arround 100w make the claptons micro and wrap them with flatribbons spaced...

 

Sounds confusing and time consuming 55. Getting plenty of flavor with my Billlow v2 nano.. 35-40watts single stand. I have desided to just stick with this for a wile..

I got 60 cm of usable clapton from 10 meters of wire screwed up big time.. So I'm done with claptons for a wile...

Got clapton now in my OBS cirus v3, 26/32g nicrome... On the 200w mod reading at .21
and 78 watts. 19 Amp

Its to mutch for me.. At 12 mg nic its ok.. With 8-12 hits and I'm good for a hour.
Clapton coils are so thirsty...

 

12mg man your crazy.. Say´s me that makes sick buildes that give me nicokicks from hell on only 6mg
My last build is thirsty and i got a nicokick from hell before i even had vaped in the cotton So now im off to the sofa for an hour or so..

I got a battery drill, where can I buy the stuff that u use in the videoes?
I tried making clapton with with a pen and my foot. Dident work out well....
What kind of wire are u using?

 

I posted a link to the 3D blueprints of this somewhere arround here, i heard something about 3D printing shops in Thailand.. You should be able to get the blueprint on a USB drive or a link to it and they will print it..

 

Sry this is no coil, this is My new way of doing fused claptons, oh micro fused claptons i think it's called.. 2*32g/35g kanthal
