I've not yet tried fibre freaks - it's got to be worth a go.
The Labo cotton Puffs are cheap - 200 squares in a pack, and I like just cutting a strip the right width, rather than teasing out the correct amount of cotton from a ball.
Does fibre freaks come in square pads?

I don't know what is but I seem to completely agree with every post I've seen by you. This thread is no exception. I have tried pretty much everything out there but can't help but come back to my rayon. Good thing too because I bought a box of the Sally Beauty Beautycoil and I'm pretty sure it will last my lifetime. Unlike cotton I find it usually doesn't have any taste but allows you to fully taste whichever juice you're using. Once in a blue moon I will taste something but it's normally gone by the second drag. Cotton of any sort however I can taste for a good while until it's broken in and because I'm used to the cellucotton, the regular cotton taste added really turns me off. No doubt japanese cotton wicks very well and I don't see any other faults but the wicking of Rayon has always done well for me and never left me a dry hit. I don't see myself buying any sort of wicking again unless rayon physically won't work in the application... for instance in the Nextgen Genny I have coming.

Btw, here is what I've come up with to keep it at my station and easy to work with. I also have a smaller cardboard tube done the same way for my travel kit.

Probably because I avoid discussions of political and social matters! Haha!

I like your dispenser @TheRedlines! I have a box of the Sally's stuff too and at this rate I wont be running out for a couple years...and that's the smaller box size. :)

I had been exclusively using rayon but experimented recently with about 1/4 of my attys running these various sorts of organic cotton, all in square pad form. It hasn't turned me off to cotton and I would still use it from time to time but it did reinforce my belief that rayon is a superior wicking medium.

I just bought some really fluffy cotton. It's a pain to wick but BOY! Is it a sweet vape! I ended up giving the last of my rayon away. Personally, I prefer cotton.
