Just my 2 cents on TC and SS:

My daily juice consumption has gone down. It used to be 12-20ml of juice on the non-TC. Now it is 6-8ml per day on TC.

Power consumption has also gone down. Although I have switched from the Subox to the Evic VTC Mini.

Adjusting the temperature is simpler than watts and volts. As someone said, just adjust it to taste.

I have noticed that ambient temperature has an effect on the vape. IE: In a cold room, I need to bump up the temperature on the device. Mayb this is due to the juice getting thicker and wicking less in a colder room? But still much easier than fiddling with watts/volts

I have been using SS wire for about 4 months but only started using SS on TC for 1-2 months. Evic VTC Mini in SS mode is great.

So overall, good stuff and I don't need anything more.

Can you give examples of the coil builds, wire size etc, anyone stock 316 out here?

Right now I am using a single coil
    28awg
    304 SS
    2.5mm dia
    6 wraps
    340 - 420 F

    I also have 30awg and 26awg both 304 and 316 SS

Bought it from Fasttech. Cheap price. But I see that ecigzaa and ovaleman.com has it.

Also steam-engine.org has the calculator for SS now.

Oh for anyone new to TC. One thing that was a bit confusing for me was that after I first fired on TC mode without vaping on it, the mod went straight to temp protection. So I thought I should lower the temp. But no, as it turns out ... you have to be inhaling on the mod so that air flows over and cools the coil. Then the mod does the rest in adjusting the wattage. I'm sure everyone knows that but just in case.

I have some SS316 28 Gauge on order right now--from FT--so, I should be able to have a go soon.
