Thanks, interesting, did you bring the wick down at the sides where the juice holes are, or just circle the coil as per VOCC coil rebuild?

Never seen it done like that before, well done, how many wraps is that? And, presumably the tail nearest the camera had been brought up from the bottom of the coil?

This is a bad pic of the build.
    26AWG Kanthal 2.5mm Inner Diameter 6 wraps
Top & bottom legs bent to allow the coil to sit level with the top of the posts.
Cotton wrapped around the outside of the coil and down to cover the RBA juice holes.
Airflow is through the center of the coil so I used the coil tool to locate the coil directly over the air hole.
Breathes very well with taste and vapour better than supplied coils.

The OCC covers the juice holes so I started there and it worked well.

Thanks, just wrapping the cotton around and wedging it between coil and posts?

I might well give this a go, not a huge fan of the Subtank RBA as it is, this might do it.

Don't forget to cover the juice holes.

The RBA was spitting, farting and carrying on with the original coil. Now the temptation to throw it in the sea has gone away.

Ha Ha--that's a good job, I'd have to be real pissed to chuck mine in the sea--I'm in Chiang mai.

Goliath V2 is going to be my next buy...
BTW, I have a twisted 28 g wire I want to try on my subtank mini RBA. Horizontal of vertical, spaced or micro coil?

Horizontal spaced 5 or 6 wraps. For microcoil then I'd try building it just like Lofty's above.
