    Seems the first dna200 upgrade will be optional to reduce the boards power to 133w but capable of being powered by 2x 18650.

    Internal lipo is of no concern to me but if I'm ever in the market for a dna200 I'd grab whichever is the smallest.

    same here, any 30 Watt device would do the trick for me,
    the only thing i would need it the downstepping but i believe the DNA40 had this already, but still DNA30 didnt ...

    i am sure the still sell DNA30 s but they never really fixed that issue, or did i miss it?

    It does...

    It has a minimum power output of 7 watts/4 volts...it does not do step-down.
