1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

I have my doubts they can sell many of these chips anymore for this kind of pricing. Some of the mass market devices nowadays work so well and really accurate enough.

In all honesty I think there is a large market for these quality chips, and will be for some time to come. It boils down to what someone is looking for from their mod on an individual basis. As mentioned before I had a reliability problem with the DNA 200 boards, at least the early release ones (I will say that it was not indicative of the majority rather bad luck). I have since found that the problems seem to have been corrected by Evolv in later release boards. For me these are the best chip on the market, although I have never used a dicodes chip, and provide a smoothness to the vape along with accuracy of power delivery that is the benchmark for the industry. I am told the dicodes chips are very similar in this way and some have a preference for them.

Once I have satisfied myself that the problems I had previously have been addressed, I will probably start replacing all my mods with DNA devices and I think that many feel the same way about performance justifies price. So a sufficient market share will most likely remain.

Look at Provari. Huge price tag for what many say are devices outdated before they are released. Quality accuracy and reliability keep their share of the market regardless of price.

Well ... it all has been set already ...
the DNA, Yihi and Dicodes Chips are just the most accurate ones.
a Ni200 0.15 Ohm Coil Measures on any of the above as 0.15 Ohms +/- 0.01 Ohm

on a Smok TC (Guardian Pipe) the very same coil is Measured with 0.17 Ohms for me
on a eVic VTC Mini the very same coil is Measured with 0.16 Ohms for me
on a RX200 the very same coil is Measured with 0.16 Ohms for me
on a Cuboid the very same coil is Measured with 0.16 Ohms for me
on a Cloupr mini TC the very same coil is Measured with 0.18 Ohms for me

I believe the Provari are pretty long lasting devices so ..... they money is well spent there,
and i believe for Vaping Newbies the cheaper TC mods are a great way to get started, however for long term vapers the more rock solic devices really have a place in the market.

My post ended up on the second page but it was actually a reply to the last one on page one.

I ordered a SDNA 75 about 3 weeks ago. I don't have it yet, since it has to go via some diversion.

Do you have it? I ordered this one because I read the build quality belies it's price tag. Of course also because it's a good opportunity trying a DNA.

I do indeed….the chip is the big deal…ergonomics 99.9% like vtc mini.

I used escribe to redo some minor settings.

    Vapes very well….totally worth it.

I might buy the upcoming Lost Vape DNA133. Same size as the DNA75 but more power.

I never use more than 25 W, except for testing or so.

Just out of interest, what battery will the 133 run?

As Big Vape said the SDNA75 is about the same format as the eVic Mini. To me that means: Just right. :)

Use dual 18650s. Presale at >$100 is quite tempting.
