1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

I'll check it out, thanks :)

LOL, did the same @ 200w the other day, that tasted foul, re wicking was required ... Grrr ... Although some times the worst mistakes are the ones we learn most from ;)

Must be designed by a petrol head.

Of course. It was an American company that designed it. Definitely one of the most unique designs out there.

The build deck is a bit similar only on the Zepyrus it's a 4 posts in a row. It has it's good points like the excellent top-fill, and performance once build is much better than the Kanger Subtank Mini.
I wouldn't go there anymore. The juice disappears like fuel in a Hummer tank at 100 mph, and then with 1/2 the flavour body of the tiny GEM with the simplest 6 wrap Kanthal.

I looked it up after we spoke. Each post arrangement has it's advantages, don't think anyone's yet invented a universal arrangement that suits every build. Velocity style is the closest thing, and a three post RDA trumps that for a quad coil build ... I think ...

LOL, I'm not buying much at the moment, still tweaking my existing gear. Kangers worked well to start with, I still use them, current favourites are Nauty, Crown and velocity, with the caveat that as my coiling and wicking are improving, I seem to be able to get an acceptable vape out of almost anything ... Well except CE4s, which have been confined to the spares bin, will probably reach the trash bin before long ...

You must be a bit of a petrol head to know what a 454 big block is, apart from a dripper. Me too. It just means you like cars, it's not a derogatory term. Not in Australia any way.

Really? I have a feeling a dual build in teh bottom 2 post holes and another using the top 2 post holes makes things so easy to align it's childs play.

Ahhh, those were the days...but I always preferred the Chevy 396 & 427, myself. 454 just sounded too big! ;)

Yes, "Really?" ... Hence "I think", stating an opinion, opinions are not facts, opinions may be wrong or right, true or false, or anywhere in between ;)

Not tried that config, yet, my only reservation would be the wicking, and possible juice starvation of the top coils, leading to dry hits that may go unnoticed as the lower coils could be working fine. But as never tried it, just another opinion ... Thanks for suggesting though, if it does work then a nice solution on velocity style deck for separate quad horizontal coils.

So, as I said, I don't think there's an ultimate build deck that universally fits every purpose, so far. Again, IMHO, obviously.
    **Updated**
LOL, in Ohio I'm fairly sure I travelled in one of the larger engined Chevys, never got the chance to compare with smaller engine. Was the first time I was ever in the states, so everything was new, and an experience :) ... And yeah, going back quite a long time ...
    **Updated**
Ps, yanks please do correct if this is wrong, but for those who aren't from USA, the 457 is cubic inches of the combined cylinder capacity of the Chevy engine ... Dunno what that works out in real measurements, but it's a huge engine basically ... That drinks fuel like it was free ...

It was a thirsty beast...but when gas was $0.299 (29.9 cents) a gallon, no one cared. That all changed after the oil crisis of 1973 when oil quadrupled from $3/barrel to $12/barrel in less than a year. ;)

454 cu. in. = 7.44 litres...a big engine by any standard!!

The only bigger engines that were mass produced at the time was the 455 cu. in., which was mainly used in the bigger GM cars. The Trans Am did get a special version of it but it was a very limited production. Ford had the 460 cu. in. but is was also used for the bigger heavier cars from Ford and Lincoln.
