I wasnt too worried about having to pay a fine. A Thai friend went to customs on my behalf in October when I had a parcel of liquid stuck there and they told him "sorry its not allowed, we have to send it back.", pretty much the exact same thing they told me today.

    Thats good news ^^

    Got my answer from DHL,

    Dear Sir

After we do process with customs. They don't approved your goods. Because it's part of electric cigaratte.
For this case , we have 3 choices for you
    1. Send back to sender
    2. Destroy at customs
    3. Broker or Shipping clear ( find by yourself )

Please let's me know your consider. And please confirm we back via email .

I think if you went for #1 then the sender would have to cover the return shipping costs
    # 3 no idea but there's no way you'd get it
#2 means they will keep it and sell it on to some Thai's or even vape it themselves :vaping::vaping:

My thoughts too, i was happy that these were the only options so I selected No 1. Its a shame though as these are top quality flavours. Im sure things will change as the growth of this industry is unstoppable, just hope non of us gets arrested or finded in the meantime, criminals that we are for finding a way to kick the analogs.

MBV has a cheap postage option ( rather than the express services). Is that likely to receive less scrutiny ( it appears to be the case with other online purchases from overseas). Any experiences?

When I ordered from MBV in January it didnt have the regular USPS option, only USPS Express Mail International. Was about 75 bucks if I recall correctly.

Anyway, an update: My order is back on its way to MBV, they will forward it to an American friend who will then send it back to Phuket. With some luck I might have my juice by the end of the month. I can't wait, have been in a bit of a juice crisis for the past weeks :D

Btw, does anyone have experience with ordering vaping gear from Fasttech to Thailand? Any customs issues? I have my eyes on a few mechanical mods they sell.

Sounds like you were lucky. My only dealing with customs was when we first arrived and had a load of personal effects. We had to pay some middleman 1000 baht alone. Then they wanted 10K "duty". We got away with 4 as i recall. The whole fiasco took a whole day and two lengthy/pricey taxi rides. I would never go back without a savvy Thai to do the talking. Absolute bloody nightmare.

Australia is awash with liquid at the moment, in anticipation of some change in government policy ( currently 3 months supply for personal use is duty free, untaxed). Many vapers expecting a change and stocking up from overseas vendors ( illegal to sell nic ejuice from within Australia)

My juice is back at MBV now. What do you guys think is the best way to proceed? Have them send it to my friend in America and have him send it to Phuket (expensive from looking at USPS' website, but could be worth it if it has a higher chance of success) or have MBV divide it into smaller packages and send it to me again?

    It's 28x 50ml bottles btw.

i have had friends remove the labels and send them to me standard airmail. it takes time, but i am 3 for 3 using this method with one time being a 120mil bottle of 100mg base. it is expensive, about $30 for the shipping and takes about a month but it seems to work.

fyi, each time they have labeled it "nail polish" or something of the sort.

p.s. never had customs on any of the packages either (knock on wood)

Very ballsy of you, mate... some might say.

I think most of us have made mistakes ordering DHL or Fed-Ex in my case, but 1,400 ml of juice!

If I was going to order that quantity I'd go to the customs first and find out whose palm I'd need to wax.

It wouldn't surprise me if that is what our friendly vendor does.
