It's a great item. For me it's probably been the easiest item to coil / build too. Use rayon, 2mm coil at around 1.2 ohm, just place it and screw. Cut the tails hard and that's it. Flavour is great and I have had no leaking at all. I just fill slowly and all is well

So, I picked up an Erlkonigen from Big this week and it arrived yesterday ( cigreen Clone ) not a bad looking atty out of the box but it did and does seem less sturdy than even my worst kayfun clone. I played around with the parts for a bit and re-read what people had to say about coiling and wicking and then set out to build my first coil on it.

I prefer a 1.4-1.6 ohm coil so I wrapped up a 1.4 with 28 g kanthal and attempted to put it on. The slots for the coil are a great help but I quickly became a little frustrated because the screws to hold down my wire kept pushing the wire out...it took moire than a few tries and I actually walked away from it for a while. When I tried again I finally got the coil set and wicked it with cotton. I usually build a 3 mil coil so there is ample cotton at the shoulders and I trimmed it down a bit into the juice channels.

I put it all together after testing the build and then filled it up. No issues with leaks at all and the first few vapes were very flavorful with lots of vapor. I did get some dry hits but once the cotton settled down and broke in it's been a very delightful vaping experience.

The cigreen clone is a little flimsy. When I tightened it all the way down on my dna 30 clone I get a bit of wobble in the tank...it hasn't caused any problems and I don't think it will but that is a little off putting especially when you know everything is put together tightly and it shouldn't be happening. The 510 pin I noticed doesn't make a connection on all devices ( won't fire on my MVP ) The only real complaint I have other than the flimsiness is the air flow control....absolute shit. If the original is the same they should be ashamed for selling it at such a high price. The adjustment actually moves once you have it on a device and if you remove the tank for any reason and put it back the air flow will have definitely moved.

All in all it is a nice little tank and I have to say it gives a great vape with lots of flavor but this clone version definitely isn't built as well as most kayfun clones.

I don't have the same issues with the AFC, well, I can't say I noticed those issues the few times I used the AFC ring but I have mine so open it was pointless having it on there.
Also no wobble on my iStick.
I don't have the Cigreen version though.

I will agree it doesn't appear to have the same build quality of a decent Kayfun clone, I think a lot of that is due to the long PC tank (or whatever it's made of). I really like how light it feels, 38g almost full with juice compared to a Rose v2 Nano at 84g.

My AFC, when I had used it (normally I just leave it out) had been staying put. I did have a bit of wobble with one of mine but fixed that by tightening the wider diameter threaded area just above the 510 threads. As for 510 connection issues you can try putting on oring in just above the base of the 510 screw to lengthen it out some. That procedure may rotate your positive post on the build deck so might want to try when you do a rebuild or tank is dry so you can make sure the positive post stays in the right position.

I'll have to see if I can tighten the wider diameter threading...the wobble is minor so hopefully that will take care of it. I probably won't be using it on many other devices so the 510 pin won't present too much of a problem either. I like a tighter airflow...not quite as tight as a kayfun but not real loose either ( mouth to lung ) so that's probably why I have noticed it more. I have to say though this thing is vaping like a champ.

I found the problem with the tank wobble. It wasn't the ring but the 510 pin. The 510 pin is just not right,; it's too short and if you have to unscrew it just a bit to make contact the tank will wobble. Pretty simple thing they should have gotten right but of course they didn't. I still have to say I am more and more impressed with the vape I am getting from it though.

I had the same wobble problem which resulted in a non-stable resistance reading on the iStick.

I took one of my DIY plastic needles and cut a piece of the end, about 2mm and use it as a washer. Put it under the 510 screw and the connection is now rocksolid without any wobble or resistance variations. Everything is tighten up, without the 510 pin being recessed.

My wobble is fixed as well.. The plastic insert that hols the 510 pin and the positive pole got loose...cranked it down and now it is rock solid, originally I thought it was the pin alone. It is definitely. If they fix that and the AFC on the second generation they would be ahead of the game because this really is a fine vape.

Got the Nano today. Fcuking thing will not stop gurgling.
Originally I wicked it the same as before and have wicked it 5 times now added more cotton every time. The cotton is now untrimmed, all the way to the bottom of the channel, AND IT STILL GURGLES!!

Might try again with rayon or boot lace. On the plus side, no dry hits.

I think a boot lace might just do the trick. :rolling laugh:

The Queen is definitely a finicky little bitch to wick and it took me more than 6 times to get it to top leaking. The nano tank looks really cute btw and would look perfect on top of an iStick.

It wasn't leaking, just a mild gurgling sound and feeling, I had so much wick in there I could barely get the chimney on in the end lol and it was still happening..

Anyway, I emptied it, cleaned it out, put it back together (without liquid) and pulled on it. It wasn't gurgling after all, there was something in the 510 ruining the path of the airflow. This has an adjustable 510 and I could notice the difference when I removed it.

I did two things, one I will reverse when I empty the tank.

I wrapped a tight 2mm coil, pulled it apart and ran it in and out of the 510 for a while. I also rotated the post the AFC ring screws onto by 90 degrees. I think this has tightened up the draw a bit, it's certainly tighter than my full sized version, I will rotate it back when I empty the tank.

The deck screws are shit on this version. The underside of the heads are rounded so it's a PiTA to get them to grip the wire instead of it sliding out. I replaced them with the spares of my other one. Problem solved.

The juice channels in this nano are much bigger than my other one also. More wick is required.

I think I won in the end. Not a fan of the red o-rings atm.

    Think it holds about 3-3.5ml

Just to add one more thing. I filled it straight to the top, no leaking!

    Another quick update.

This nano is designed differently to my other one. You can adjust the 510 and if you unscrew it completely the 510 is held in place by an insulator that you can unscrew. Now, the 510 negative (that the afc ring screw on to) can be rotated 90 degrees and gives a slightly tighter, quieter draw. I vape this way because the "gurgly-gurgly" feeling I find annoying the other way. It seems that was the culprit of my issues.
If I rotate the 510 negative on my other Erlkonigin it almost completely cuts off the airflow.

I would say that this is the better version of the two I have. Less hassle to wick due to the wider/deeper juice channels and can be filled to the top on the first fill with no leakage whatsoever. Just a bummer I can't get the exact same draw as on my full sized version, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.
