I don't know about this one. Wicking with mesh seems like a PIA to me, and that's on the genesis style which seems to be easier than the Ikea (and yes, I am calling it the Ikea because it's easier). I have that and it works awesome.

 

Ok, seriously you guys need to stop showing me things that I would want to buy. I really do not need more equipment and should save the money. If you find some cool new equipment...you should keep it to yourself.

 

I been looking at the clone of this on fasttech, i might have to get one , there is a post there about an intresting way of wicking it with a combo of cotton and mech, ill add the picture(its from fasttech forum).



for me the only downside is the air intake placement, if it leak it will leak into the mod.

 

I wicked it with cotton only and I was afraid it would leak but it didn't

My wick looks like that picture but without the mesh! The latest on the ECF forum is that you shouldn't put anything (cotton) into the juice channel, and they say it is a fool proof way to start off with!

I would really like to know how the one from FastTech is but personally I would buy the original Erlprinz first......just to know what that is all about!

I looks like this one is the best clone from FastTech and the quality looks ok!

 

The video I posted on the previous page appears to also be sold on FT. Same box anyway.

 

Mine shipped today...my first ever order from FT. If it vapes as well as many say, it looks like yet another Kayfun will come out of my rotation. That's already happened recently because of the addition of 2 Rose V2s which are better vapes for me. Anyway, I'll share my thoughts on the Erl clone after receiving!

 

SD and Konvict: How is the ERLs working out for you? What's your take comparing to other devices? Just curious. My clone should be here in another 7 to 10 days...I hope.

 

Ordered mine yesterday...

 

The first time I coiled and wicked it with cotton it worked 100%! The flavor and the nicotine hit were incredible! The KayFun with the same flavor, MBV Razzleberry, can absolutely not compete with The Queen!

After vaping more than 15 ml I needed to clean the tank because I was out of Razzleberry. I looked at the coil and wick and they were still clean!

After cleaning the juice out I put a new wick in and juice and then the problems came......flooding like crazy! I just put the Stainless Steel tank on with 7 ml of Butterscotch and lost about 4 to 5 ml trying to get it working... I gave up yesterday after 15 minutes because it was already late in the evening. I know it all has to do with how thick your wick is and how you cut it and arrange it through the coil....this is the experience I am lacking at the moment!

This evening I will try again!

If it works, it is a breeze, if it doesn't please keep your distance.

KayFuns are much easier to build, but really lack the flavor and nicotine hit you get compared with The Queen!

Thanks for sharing Konvict! I read others that had the same experience in the ECF thread. Sounds like once you have it down and can make repeatable with setup you'll be in a very good place!

 

Now it is 100% working again...

Maybe it was the Stainless Steel tank that I tried to use....

The wick set up was almost the same as yesterday!
