1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.
Are you looking to get started or an old hand at vaping? Everyone is welcome here so sign up today and talk vaping with us!

I took a quick - not - drive to Pattaya today - took me three and a half hours to get there! Went to Wut's and bought one of these little suckers.

Am vaping it now, after about an hour of trial and error. I copied exactly the video earlier in this thread. The one where he puts the little tails in the juice channels.

So far it's great! And so light after using the Russian 91% and Kayfuns. Comparable vape to my Russians.

The trick in the end was not to try and fill it until it was assembled and then fill it through the fill hole in the top duh!... And - loosen the black delrin around the 510 connector to get some airflow happening.

Learnt that after sucking in a moth full of juice!.....
Not sure about this plastic screw on drip tip though. I'm sure it is going to wear out pretty quickly...

    Let' see how it goes......

Oh, and I can't get it to fire on the Provari. Works great on the VS though.

Yes, traffic is a breeze going to Pattaya because of roadwork ... Only if you travel in the middle of the night!:frustrated:

The original had the same problem that some devices couldn't fire them, so they put in a spacer to make the 510 connector a bit longer.

I think your version of the ProVari doesn't have a floating pin, but your VS does, that's why it fires on the VS.:good idea:

Did this clone come in a plastic box like the FastTech clone of 20 dollars?

No. It was just in a small thin cardboard outer. Like a juice box.

I've only done a single tank of juice so far with it...work keeps interfering. Flavor is incredible, much more than my Nautilus, but it's louder, too...rumbles like a freight train at the start of every draw. I don't think I've got the wicking right, which is the key to this tank. The ECF thread indicates that less is better. Will rewick it to see if it gets quieter.

I just put another wick in it and it gurgled and leaked for a bit after filling the tank up 80%.

It didn't do that when the tank had an initial 20% filling.

After playing around with the air control ring for a while it stopped gurgling but still leaked a bit. I just kept vaping until it stopped leaking and the bubbles came!

    Now it is working great!

Did my first 1.2 ohm build this evening with rayon. And this is the easiest build I have ever tried in my short history as a vaper . Took the air wide open and it was a little sound. But flavour is really, really good.
And the ease of build, that impressed me most. Usually I don't make nice coils, here it was a breeze. And I'm a happy vaper this evening too.

Pipcon and Jon how is the Erlkönigin at the moment, I would love some feedback how things progressed with her because I want to buy one or two more Queens...I have a couple of mods lying around without an atty.

I am still thinking about buying one original nano though, but if a 20 dollars clone is good enough I think I will be a happy camper and save a lot of dough!

Looking forward to trying this out and hopefully I will have on Saturday or Monday. Unfortunately I'll have no VW mod to give it a good going over.

I'm pretty impressed so far. Tank capacity is good. Although I get the impression it is better to only fill it about 80%. Othrlerwise it tends to leak for a little while. After which it settles down and doesnt leak again until the next fill. But it is short-lived.

I've put about 5 or 6 tanks through it now. And I'm considering buying another!

Flavor is very good and vape quality right up there.

Sometimes I go back to the Russian as I still think they are a smoother vape. Maybe a little fuller draw. But then again, i am still getting used to the different wicking set up.

One of the great things is the weight. It's like nothing on the top of the mod. Especially sitting on the VS 30. What a great little pocket combo!

You know, these things are so subjective that it's really hard to compare. They are different but equally good in their own way. I'm really tempted to buy an original to see if they are any better. But of course that will have to wait until at least after the new VS 40 hopefully makes it through customs.....

Just stopped to have another hit. It really is enjoyable...

I have pretty much stuck to the wicking setup described initially. Just trying out different thickness on the rayon.

I use 28 gauge Kanthal, about 11 wraps. Currently at about 2.1 ohms.

    All-in-all? Highly Recommended!
