1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.
Are you looking to get started or an old hand at vaping? Everyone is welcome here so sign up today and talk vaping with us!

My tiny o-rings fall out, doesn't seem to be an issue though.
I quickly cleaned it, didn't need much of one and slapped some 30g in there, no idea what resistance it is as my reader doesn't seen to like the recessed 510. Me neither.
Couldn't be bothered to check out builds so I wicked off memory. Cut the Rayon just inside the diameter of the base and then cut them at approx 45 degree angles. Chucked a bit of juice on there, put it back together and filled with a tiny bit of juice just in case it all went tits up.

    SUCCESS!!

I'll hold off on my opinions until I have used it on a regulated device but initial impression is that it is a better vape than the Kayfun but I don't like Kayfuns anyway.

Is a bit loud. Sounds like an inhaler.

I had those sounds only once but for only a short time but I heard on ECF others talking about that.

Maybe the difference is that I use cotton and not rayon.

Maybe, TBH I only used the rayon as there was an inch of it within arms reach. I have used very little wick.

I completely removed the AFC but it doesn't seem to make any difference either way. Unless of course I close it completely

Finished building my Erlk clone a while ago...first build leaked real bad in the first 30 seconds of vaping...I mean it was basically pouring out the bottom through it's air holes. Have no idea what was behind that except for maybe a small gap between uppermost plate and the plate immediately below it that has the fill hole washers sitting on it.

To be safe, I did another rewick, again with rayon, using same steps and method as the first only maybe just a little less quantity in the wick channels. The first build I felt had only a very small amount in the channels per the cautions I have read online and for the most recent wicking I used even less....almost like what appeared to be 20 individual fibers or so (!). Also, this time I made sure to screw down that drip tip quite tight and no gap.

Anyway, it's working great. I built it to intentionally compare against a kayfun build I did last night. Same id and ohm coil and same juice. The Erlk is definitely is a better tasting vape. Side by side and difference is noticeable. Later I will do the same with a comparison against the Rose V2 which is also a noticeably better flavor producing and smooth vape than Kayfuns, Fogger and the Taifun. That will be a cool comparison. My initial thoughts after a while of vaping her is that the Erlk will be right up there with the Rose V2 in flavor but maybe a little less smooth.

Airflow is quite good. More open than a Kayfun and the Rose V2 and approaching a Fogger V4.

Did you get any of the loud sounds they are talking about, Scratchy?

For me it's not very bad...but it is louder and more raspy than a wide open Kayfun. I have the AFC control still in it but about as opened up as can be.

Just rebuilt mine with a lower resistance coil, I'm guessing it's about an ohm. Does anybody else have a reader that can't get a reading from the "Queen"?

I cut them about level with the inner lip
    [IMG]

Trimmed them to approx 45 degrees

Juiced up (I removed the loose fibres on the right ;))

I don't usually chainvape but I did as a test, no dry hits. No leaking either.

I built on top of one of my box mods and used that for reading...just checked now on two different model readers and neither can report the resistance. The 510 pin must be too recessed.

    Yeah

I must say I was expecting a much bigger atomizer. I didn't read the dimensions but with it's apparent 6-8ml I assumed it would be at least, if not bigger, than the Taifun GT. It's 3/4 of the size.

So naturally, when something is small, one of the first things I think of is "can it be made smaller?"

Is there a nano kit available for it? :)

There's a 3 ml nano kit available for the OEM ErlK here: Nano Kit 3ml-EK-040
Don't know if it'd fit the FT clone but probably not practical given its price.

So all of these have a recessed 510 centre pin?
