    Hmmm, I'm not so sure about that...Joyetech was founded in 2007, iSmoka in 2008. From what I could find, they're both located in Shenzhen but in different industrial zones...there's really no way to know for sure...

    Not sure the exact relationship but heard on numerous occasions they are 'sister' companies.

    Drippers don't bother with this IMO . My first EVIC lasted 3 days before juice dripped into the workings and "borked" the screen. The positioning of the control knob on the top is just asking for trouble. Does look reasonable though.

    According to Wiki, trademarks are for distinguishing goods & services of one company from another...don't think they have anything to do with the relationship between companies.

    Edit: but I could be wrong ;)

    Mine is based on numerous mentions from numerous reviewers.
    August was the first time I heard mention of it by twisted420 when reviewing the Lemo which conveniently hybrids to the eVics

    Well if eleaf trademark belongs to joyetech then most probably a subsidiary.

    Being the curious b*stard that I am, I did a US trademark search. At one time, Joyetech had trademarked the 'iSmoka' name but has since abandoned it. They do have 2 current trademarks for 'eLeaf' (as does Panasonic but for a different 'look'). So, there appears to be evidence that Joyetech and eLeaf (iSmoka) are related...

    Ok...back to work now.

    I never even looked at the eVic because of that. I must say that with the eVic supreme, they have learned the lesson, but I am also not to happy with the placement of the knob.
