I would use density 2 for a trial, but then I drip 99% of the time. For an RBA like the Kayfun, assuming the build is basically the same as the old Kayfuns (I don't have one so don't know), I would suggest density one as wick placement on the deck is going to be easier with the lower density.

But I suppose you could get both and I will buy the one you don't like off you LOL

****EDIT**** Just saw Tibo's post. Cancel my suggestion. LMAO

I would advise yoj guus to buy both. The pack isn't that big anyway. It seems that #2 is easier to work with.

I can bring density #1 to the meet if you guys want to try before ordering anything.

Mine should be with me in a few days
I went with both of the densities
When wicking with this, is it like cotton or rayon?
Tight or not so tight into the coil?

Should be tight like Rayon or slightly less. Which # did you order ?

I find myself wasting a lot of it (#1) because of the fluffy way it come in.

I will order the pad (#2) next time

Density 1 is much like cotton, but more fine I use density 1 everywhere where I would use cotton and rayon. Density 2 can also be used for this , but are best used in kraken and other drippers. Density 2 comes in pads much like the japanese cotton, but are stronger or more thight - so its great wicking for kraken ect. I use about the same amount of density 1 as I would cotton-rayon, but I find that I get a lot better flavor from this fiber and it keeps clean a lot longer and do not have a BI taste like cotton when you start on a new wicking.

The #1 is not evenly dense, like a cotton ball. Therefore when I make the wick tight like I do with rayon, it breaks.

The #1 should be wick like cotton and #2 like rayon, IMO. But I haven't tried #2 yet.

Thanks for the feedback Flem :)

Your welcome Tibo. many vapers may think that it is a little expensive and of course compared to cotton it is. I pay $6 for a bag of this and I can get at least 100 wickings out of density 1 and it last for days. depending of course on the liquid you vape. The more sweet the more often I have to change wick.

The quality is for me far superior to Rayon but the density 1 it finally not what I need. I will get the #2.

It is not expensive at all but we were spoiled by using cotton and Rayon which are utterly cheap and this is we use it to compare the price.

I still love Rayon (vaping on a rayon set up now) but I find Fiber Freaks superior.

Ok, so the #1 is different to cotton and rayon, but it was easy enough to work with.
Both my Roses are vaping great with it, great flavour and vapour...
I'll try the #2 next time.
