Personally, I wouldn't cancel the order. The Hana clone has a few niggles, but it's an awesome mod. I love vaping with it. As VM replied above, there seems to be a simple fix for the aerotank anyway. Most attys I've seen have adjustable centre pins, but I'm not familiar at all with tank-attys other than the kayfun. If you want to be extra careful, just adjust the centre pin so it's a millimetre out from it's threading.

All of this sounds like good advice to me too. I'm pretty sure I've read elsewhere that the aerotank's centre pin can be recessed into, or flush with it's threading. It probably varies from unit to unit - probably a good idea to check it out before putting it on the Hana clone.

A few weeks ago, I could have really used that video you posted Dieter. I was having that problem with my Spinner and was wondering if it was going to keep working long enough for the Hana preorder to arrive. I didn't know then that I could've just adjusted it. It was touch and go for awhile there because it would only charge if I plugged it in and put it down just so. One slight movement and it would stop charging. Anyway, good to know.

Thanks V'morph and BWman, I did contact Micky and he sent me a photo of his DNA30 with an Aerotank Mega attached, and says no probs, so have asked him to go ahead with the order asap.

Can't wait to get away from the eGo's - can just feel they haven't got enough power for decent vaping.

Yep thanks for that Dieter, have known about that little fix with the eGo's for a long time now - the pushed in end can also affect charging.
But your correct, the contact pin on my Aerotank Mega was pushed in all the way straight outa the box, new.
(I didn't adjust at all till it didn't fire, and then did after reading the instructions, which said to rotate 'em and push them out a tad)

    cheers mate.

    Sure I will Morph !

IF it does short-out on me you guys will be the first to know !!! LOL

Anyways, can't wait to use it with the Nautilus as well.

Still think I need another one, so maybe next week will still go for the iTaste SVD express kit. Or do you reckon a 2nd DNA30 would be the go ?

Just thinking, when going out, maybe the SVD would be slightly better, as it's smaller, no ?

(I'm not sure, because I have never held either the DNA30 or the SVD)

IF, just IF, the DNA did short with the Aerotank Mega - does thatmean the DNA would be stuffed and need repairing (or the tank?) ... I think thats what got me worried about the larger size diameter contact pin in the DNA30 in the first place and the fact that they had already updated them with a new release

Thanks a lot for posting that - had only heard about 'dripping' and same like you, I was thinking how the **** does that work ... ta, for the explanation, all clear now.

A few of us call it 'The light sabre' and Ryan calls it 'The little guy' :rolling laugh:

You have a Nautalus so you can use that as your yard stick. 18650 mode and 18350

The SVD can be used with 18350, 18500, 18650 batteries and a few more since the tube is telescopic, so when you are going out I think it would be a good strong mod. The SVD has a protection, so if the Aero Mega tank should make a shortcut, you can not fire it. And I am very sure that the Hana Mod with the DNA 30 also has such a protection. If it should not be so for the Hana Mod, then I hope someone with the Hana mod will correct me, since I don't have it. But all my other electronic mods claim they have a shortcut protection. That should be one of the advantages by using an electronic mod.

I'm up early watching the World Cup.

After reading this thread and comments on the Hana Modz Clone regarding the issues of shorts with Kanger tanks, I have to report my DNA30 clone has now become an expensive paperweight. So yes, I'd have to say unfortunately, "it's stuffed!"

I got the dreaded error message "check atomizer." Now it doesn't fire any of my tanks/Kayfuns that all worked perfectly before. There is no reset switch to turn this error message off and removing/reinserting the battery does no good either. Changing tanks and pressing the fire button brings up "check atomizer" every time and the Hana Mod won't fire.

I've contacted Big and he PM'd me back that he is awaiting a reply from the factory regarding this problem. Looks to me like I'll be sending it in for repair.

Does it give the same error without a tank also ?, sounds to me like its the connection either at the 510 or maybe a wire fell off.:vaping::vaping:

Yes, with or without a tank it gives the same error message.
Not going to open it up coz I don't want to void the Warranty.

That's bad news mate, sorry to read it, the only problem I have is that it doesn't fire up first touch of the button, second or third yes....

Am told there is a reset button. But unfortunately to get there you have to take off the plastic lid inside, next to the battery. That in itself needs a lot of effort as the cover is sealed. Needless to say once you do that you nullify the warranty, in case there is one.

I thought it would just pop off. However it looks like it's his 510 connection which is the problem....
