FT banning e-cig shipments to Thailand?

    To be honest, the decisions made by the current Thai Government, have made many aspects of 'normal life' untenable in LOS.

    I am not saying the current government is doing everything right. Yet many things they do. My Thai friends who superficially keep on complaining about them silently say most of the time what they do is actually right.

    Had a non vape related FT order seized about 2 weeks ago. I'm still trying to figure out what is illegal about a set of screwdrivers and small digital clock. Total value was 9 USD so couldn't be bothered with even chasing it up.

    Maybe, but I don't think so...it's very hard to tell a package is coming from FT to begin with (I always ask for discrete packaging). My semi vape-related FT order was just delivered...battery cases & tweezers via China Post. From looking at the label, it's impossible to tell who the sender is.

    Absolutely nothing! I'd be all over the Post Office (or the g/f would) even for such a low value package if for no other reason than to keep 'em honest. ;)

    I totally agree. In this forum it's about vaping, and so fare as I understand the "Input" we get from officials, to me they are just illogical. The e-cigarette have an issue. The issue is that there has been no tax paid on them. Well in that case it's easy allow them and sell them with tax. Problem solved. Or tell people, where they can pay tax for the e-cigarette they own. Problem solved. No need to hunt vapers around and take their equipment.

    Good day to everyone , Well been vaping for 6 years now and ordering from ft for a few years too ..
    today i got an email from them saying that they cant ship to India because of some new rulings , darn that totally sucks , they have offered a refund tho ..
    am guessing that countries and the concerned authorities are cracking down pretty hard on vape gear ...

    just thought i would share this with everyone ...

    No it's not just Thailand, or Singapore.

    I have no memory of anything being pursued globally so consequently as is getting rid of vaping. It can't be the money alone.

    Maybe not...but it's a huge part of the motivation. Meanwhile, the public health benefits get pushed to the curb and completely ignored. ;)

    @ Siam Diesel, That's why. As opposed to looking into the positive chances, "they" try to find negative issue about vaping - by hook or by crook.

    Yes, besides the money that Big Stinky, the Pill Pushers and governments world-wide are losing, the ANTZ (Anti-Nicotine & Tobacco Zealots) just can't stomach the fact that we can vape (which reminds them way too much of smoking) and do ourselves and others much less harm...sends 'em right around the bend. :p

    There are a lot of forces at play...but you'll never put the (vaping) cat back in the bag...too many vapers out there and with social media, the word has spread too quickly. Vaping saves lives...full stop!
