FT banning e-cig shipments to Thailand?

in europe we have the "TPD" : stupid and restrictive regulation, but anyways vaping is permit.
some are afraid that the fact of buying high or very high nicotine liquid from Poland or not so pure nicotine from china will make more problems after time

a lot of french stock high tar nicotine (good quality product) or big quantity of e liquid medium tar 12. 18 mg/ml. (easy to preserve in a "congelateur... sorry" cold fridge). even me
they know that 0 mg/ml pv vg can not be banned.

 

Used to wonder about this too….only thing I can think of is that there has to be collusion between the postal guys and customs….it is very easy for the post guys to tell the sender of a package by the shipper code which is usually printed on the form that is attached to a FT package. I guess this code is how the postal company bills FT since they ship thousands of packages monthly.

All they have to do is separate any packages with the FT shipper code and open them all. All this info is probably stored in the barcode and could possibly be seen with a simple scan.

OTOH, Im wondering if this only happens with registered mail that requires form filling….has anyone tried using just regular unregistered airmail?

 

I order to FT 6 weeks ago, 30ml bottles, vw mod, the well know clone of the memesis mod + magnet, one clone of the griffin 25 and a 3$ dripper,
3 of the 4 packages were not registered. I'll wait.
it look that they don't send anymore here.
Prohibition will be hard for us

 

just receive my only registered package ( other aren't) from FT ( a sheap kp box 30w),

Just checked on FT and you can make orders to thialand , the only thing that has changed is that you can't select the shipper/post , i'm guessing that they know by now what shipping option works for thailand.
I ordered a mod 5min ago with FT , will update this post if something goes wrong , now if i don't update then it all worked out (FT is slow to ship and the post is even slower so the results of my order can be up to 2 months)

in my case they don't registered (registered not applicable?) the last orders (clever or not?),

Just checked some FT packages….on the label, there is secondary smaller barcode in the bottom left hand corner.

For tracked packages it usually has the number 104 or 102 printed above that barcode….I am wiling to bet this would contain the shipper information.

 

you right, one of my unregistered package arrive today (slow delivery ), they can't check everything.

 

Can't understand why FT gives refunds when it is not their problem. Caveat emptor and all that. We know the risks when we order. A simple warning on the order page declining responsibility for the safe delivery of prohibited items would be perfectly reasonable.

Out of curiosity: on the address label of the package, is there a secondary barcode in the left hand bottom corner and does it have a number above it?

 

Conflicting information here. I ordered an atomizer from FT days before the ban and requested regular airmail. Nothing has has arrived. It has been about 1 month. I looked at their site yesterday and was not able to find any way to place an order to Thailand. It simply said no shipping available to said location (Thailand) and would not allow me to complete the order payment. I have had 100% success with some other China suppliers on small items like coils.
