Thanks Vapermorphs. I think that's a lot simpler. As a total newbie there's quite a lot of jargon to get one's head around, so i was somewhat baffled before because for every thread title i was doing extensive Googling and Youtube viewing to work out what the hell it was all about. I've been coming to Thailand since 1985 so i'm not much of a newbie on that front.

Anyway, my order from Micky arrives this afternoon so the journey can finally begin. i was limited to going with the Chinese juice to get my 18mg hits, but picked up a Halo Southern Classic at 12 mg's. Either way, i'm not expecting any miracles and will be delighted if i can just cut down to five or less fags per day after after 35 years on 20+. I've heard many say that after a while they prefer the vape to tobacco and that it gets easier to knock the latter on the head. We'll see.
I've already been told by one drinking buddy that i'm wasting my time and money. "my misses went on those things and ended up throwing it in the bin", he scoffed. However i think he was talking about those things that look like actual cigarettes and produce very little vapour. Hopefully the set up i've bought will be far more satisfying.

It's mind boggling for newbies!

 

Wow. What to say? I'm speechless.

35 years and i haven't' wanted a fag since my last one at 1pm today. Off to bed soonish but the pipe will keep me company till then. I was expecting to have a couple of rollies to keep me going but after the first vape i knew the pipe was hitting the spot.
I didn't realise i'd actually bought 2 clearomisers, an iclear and a unitank mini. I thought the unitank mini was the tank that went on the end of the iclear. LOL. So i have two different tanks it seems. Thanks Micky.

My daughter loved it too. Instead of dad being sat on the porch (condo balcony actually, we don't smoke in the house) he spent the evening sitting next to her watching Tom and Jerry till bedtime. She did glance over from time to time at the strange new gizmo he tugged on periodically, but was was more than happy to have me there, and vice versa for me.

It did occur to me that i was "smoking" more than usual. I even had a puff in the lift on the way to 7/11 to stock up on beers, and i've been having a good cough too. Stress on the good.

I kicked off with Halo Southern Classic in the unitank, and loaded up the iclear with feelife melon ? (sorry can't remember the second word) and liked both. The Halo is smoother, but i discovered after a while i'd cranked up the power on the Vision Spinner without realising it on the melon juice, and having turned it down i think it's much nicer. i'd been concerned that the 10mg Halo juice would not be strong enough, but it seems fine so far. I also noticed i ordered two different kinds of Feelife juice; one called concentrate, and the other ????? (sorry forgot) in a different colour box. One is Red Marlboro, and the other is Lights, but i'm already beginning to see why vapour's don't necessarily prefer tobacco blends.

My old lady has already demanded her own pipe. She spent much of this evening on the balcony smoking the Golden Virginia but is now in a state of shock. She's been demanding i give it up for years, but has never gone her own way. Now she's gobsmacked, and can't believe i haven't had a fag for all these hours, while she's still at it.

I'm under orders to get a new set for her from Micky tomorrow. Any ideas on alternatives to my current set up? I'm hugely impressed with what i've bought but it's always interesting to hear what else is about. Obviously It would make sense if the threads on any new kit were the same as the current one.

Just noticed i'm out of beer so it's time for a refill. I'll be taking the pipe along for the ride.
