Cool Goblin RTA by Youde

I'll have to check that out. Did they increase the capacity? I read that was a big negative many people had with it.

My goblin has been collecting dust for over a month. Cant get that damn screw to stop leaking. Im excited for the Zephyrus too. *youtubing goliath 2*

 

When you fill it make sure the port is dry and the screw is completely dry too. And of course tighten it fully.

Other than that, no suggestions apart from locating another screw and a tiny o-ring.

 

@Scratchy there is two different pirex tank in the original box. While I would admit the smallest tank is a bit too small especially when running a dual coil set up, the bigger tank is howrver more then correct. Bigger and that won't be easy to carry IMO.

 

I read the same dry both the screw port and the screw itself. Very dry for the screw.

Some people also cautioned about wicking methods being a possible culprit. For example, the wicks laying on the deck too closely to the air hole. Also, seems more people have recommended having some wicking, but definitely not a full wick amount, inside the vertical channels as opposed to only resting on the deck nearby the top of the channels.

I heard it was a much larger atty! Thanks for mentioning and also the fact it includes two sized pyrex pieces. I was happy the Goblin also had 2 sizes included.

 

I think @Tibo was referring to the Goblin but maybe the Goliath comes with a larger tank too now?

I dunno, I'd happily swap the Goliath II for my Goblin. I'd probably swap the Zephyrus and Goblin Mini for it too

I almost had a Goliath but the deal went tits up (GB) after that I decided to wait but when available (not pre-order) I will look to grab one over the Zephyrus I think, maybe both...

Kidding aside, I'd also like a single coil option in this range of sub-ohm RTAs for building convenience but am not interested much in the Lemo 2. Dual coil is not that much a pain the rear but do have to make some more considerations.

Thinking about builds more, the goblin v2 was actually real easy for me to build on.

My champ for the moment remains the Kayfun V4. As a plus I learned I can use parts from it on the Goblin. Not sure I'll do that though.

I have been out of touch for some weeks now, but I look and read And yes, I have looked at the Zephyrus. If it comes localy I will try it. I got the Cthulhu in order, but in all honesty. I'm so happy with the Goblin and Silverplay that I mostly buy out of curiosity now. But I have to admit that the airflow on this looks very interesting

And yes @Tibo . A tip on early arrival would be very nice indeed.
