Toss it. It isn't worth the risk.

Ya. It could be ok but it's probably not worth the risk. Integrity of the exterior is important for insulation purposes. What has gone on inside is anyone's guess. Good luck.

    UPDATE:

6 days ago last wednesday at 5.20pm I informed Micky of the problem with my hana DNA30 clone burning out with the Mega on it ... today lunch time here on Samui I received the replacement V3 !!!

That is really really good going for anywhere - especially here in Thailand.

Pretty darn happy with Micky's service (& Clouper for honoring their 90 day warranty)

    :congratulations:

... got it vaping like a train with my Kayfun 3.1 on top

BUT, gee'z I am very hesitant to put the Aerotank Mega on it EVEN knowing the connector pin is the smaller diameter now, and it SHOULD be ok ...

mmmmm what to do ... I'd freak IF it burnt out again !

I tried the aerotank mega on it for a couples of vape (just received it today), it seems to fit perfectly.

I think they also updated the chip in the new versions so what will also be a bonus...

Tks for the feedback Tibo ...

Fitting perfectly is not the prob tho (the last one V2 did too) - hahaha ... it's the bloody connector pins I'm cautious about.

Feels good Vape ... seems like a more nice coating on the box in the hand than the V2... yeah, heard the chip had been updated too ... ALL GOOD so far

Nice to hear it turned out well. I saw a few pics of that new paintjob/coating and it looks like it's less of a fingerprint magnet and maybe a bit more sweat-friendly. I know that with mine (with original paint job) the coating is flawless, but outside on a hot day it gets wet from sweat when holding it. I'm always wiping it off.

As for the aerotank, I for one wouldn't risk it again. Yeah, it should be fine, but I'd be more inclined to just use it on other devices only.

    ---

Edit: Now that I think of it, if I had the same issue with one my fav RDA (currently Veritas), I would be very inclined to risk it.

Coating looks great, but did not have the previous version so can't compare.

To you both, are your atty's slanted at all on this new version? Mine is a tiny, tiny bit slanted (v1) and I've ready plenty more were the same. Just wondering if that's fixed now.

Tibo, looks like you've got about as much juice in your battery as you have in your tank.

LOL Yeah true for the battery, for the tank still have quite some but the Aerotank Mega has this st**id thing that the glass does not go all the way down... Don't get why Kanger did not modify that annoying feature.
