1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.
Are you looking to get started or an old hand at vaping? Everyone is welcome here so sign up today and talk vaping with us!

PG above 50% irritates me. For sure is not comfortable on my throat, but I think it's more my personal preference than some allergy.
I don't think you can really "prepare" for what you could be sensitive as everyone is different. I definitely would never have thought to tell someone not to use metal drip tips but....

Yes, this has been discussed before-not the drip tips but the ratio in E Liquids-some time back I realized that PG was probably responsible for a few side effects and dropped down to 70 VG to 30 PG and even lower; I have yet to go to 100% VG, purely because my Nic Eliquid is PG/VG so, until I source pure VG Nic, I'll have to make do with 70-80% VG only

Personally I find a little PG to be a good thing. I have tried 100% VG but the flavor is a bit light, and I don't know about the equipment now, but I am a little worried that 100% VG could not wick well or could gunk up the coils quicker as I had those issues before.

When you use 80% VG what do you vape with? I guess it might also be different at high voltages etc but I don't have that set up.

Now that I am moving to higher VG I'm using RBAs, and I have on dripper from Rick, but I'm mostly into tanks- I like my Erlkonigen, Orchids, Taifuns and now. .......I love my Kanger SubTank. All work fine with high VG.

I'm going to try the high vg approach soon. Process of elimination is what it will boil down to. I just received a nice package from zample box with 3mg Nic.
Next will be a high vg order to glv. Wait and see...
I'm having difficulty thinking that my drip tip is to blame, but who knows.

My reaction to PG is :
    - Dry lips
    - mouth ulcer
    - insomnia

Since I vape 0mg, I know it is not the nicotine.

Big Bad Baby Jesus I would advise you the following brand for high/max VG juices :

    - Boosted
    - The Vaping Rabbit
    - Vaporgate
    - Vapoholics
    - Hostile Vapors
    - Seduce Juice
    - Captivape

I've never heard of the insomnia that's interesting...

I am still coming off cigarettes but been having insomnia (although I might just get that without anything). I wonder if the PG could be doing that to me, although I think maybe not because I vaped before and didn't get it, but who knows.
I am not sure it isn't the nicotine as I have been using nicotine and I think I will start lowering it soon as I really like vaping but if I do it too much I get negative effects from the nicotine.

I got insomnia from PG, not from nicotine though.

When I was using liquid with nic I found that when I started vaping at higher watt/volt I had to at least halve the nic in the juice othervice I got insomnia. I also use high VG juice, because the PG can give me headache and a very dry mouth.

I might add that using high VG juice also mean that the windows have to be cleaned more often :here's your beer::here's your beer:
