    We need 40 people posting 2 times, that's not that hard :) The same 40 can repost after that for another draw.

    It gives 1 chance on 20 to win something which is actually very good odds IMHO.

    Not to sound pessimistic but I can't be the only who did a quick math on this (oups just saw that @lordofthedread did the math as well ^^).

    We need 40 different members to post 2 times in order to only reach the bare minimum of 80 posts. Considering the active population here on Thailand Vapers, this giveaway has very few chance to happen. It will mostly get forgotten.

    I salute @Heaven Gifts action and the support they are showing, it is a great gesture and a fun thread to participate in. I just think the number is slightly too high to be realistic here.

    Hmmm, the odds of winning in each draw are 1 in 40 (assuming 40 people post twice for each draw)...since each draw is separate, the odds of winning are always 1 in 40...at least, that's what I remember from that long-ago statistics class I took. ;)

    This is correct, since we need 40 different participant, you have one chance out of 40. Does not matter how many choice you have since every participant have the same amount of choices.

    I always consider my odds to be 1/1 and if I don't win it's because it's been fixed.

    I could easily imaging that one of the purpose is to give away items in stock, so that there is room for the newer devices, have also seen that in other company give-a ways. But the prices are still solid good and useful. I think the folloving qoute from there OP clearly shows this :

    That was sarcasm BTW. Of course it's nice to win and it's nice that others win (except for @judas).
    The only time I begrudge it is when their first post is in a giveaway and their second is to talk shit after they won.

    I get the feeling that 80 posts is a calculated figure from the OP.

    Bearing in mind that there are just under 200 members, most of whom don't post much here, why not make the number 50 or less?

    I wonder how many people actually post on this forum on average every week. Surely it's not 50.
