I bought the D4 from Micky. Decent charger and 30% cheaper from Micky than from FT when I bought it. It's not very fast but that's only an issue if you only have one battery.

By meaning better, what does it mean to a layman like me? Is it faster, safer or charges the batteries more efficiently? If some one could explain this to me please.

After reading the revew, it appears that the main knock is that when you're using >2 bays, the maximum charge current is 0.5 amps, which results in a longer charge time. This is the same charging current that most USB ports accept.

    From the VP4 review:

    upload_2015-10-11_14-29-13.png

If you need a 4 bay charger and are willing to tolerate the slower charging time when using >2 bays, it's a fine charger. Otherwise, I'd suggest the VP2.

One other thing - - I received an essentially 'dead' LG HE2 when I receive my VS DNA40 at the beginning of the year...it was registering at <1.0 volts (it sat unused in the mod for too long before it arrived in LoS). The VP2 was able to resurrect it successfully although it took most of a day. I presume the VP4 is capable of the same thing. As a result of this and because mine has worked flawlessly for over a year and a half, I swear by XTAR chargers.

Thanks for comments. Came back on Monday from a short family holiday to find my Subox Mini had arrived. First class service from Lotta, and a very good price. Still playing around with settings of course, but delighted so far. Shall need a charger soon, and that question has been answered before I even asked it!
    **Updated**
As a newbie, I have only the strawberry juice kindly supplied by Lotta with my mod. The juices I have seen on this forum seem to be sold in fairly large volumes suitable for the experts, who already know what flavours they like. Eco Cig Thailand has about 50 flavours in 10 ml bottles. I was considering buying a varied selection. Ten bottles for 1000 baht inc EMS. If I don't like one, I've only lost 90 baht. Good idea, or no?

Price isn't too bad...there are also the Joyetech juices (Micky) and the Feelife juices (Tienga) to consider that are in the same price range as well as those from Vapor Mist and vVvapor (essentially Mt. Baker Flavors).

If you buy one you don't like, post it up in the Classies.

Good luck on the flavor journey...that's more than half the fun!!!

Yeah, go with small bottles if possible until you hit the jackpot.

Thanks Sam and Rick. Going to check out the sites now, and maybe include a few wild cards.
This vaping scene reminds me of a pipe smoker I worked with donkeys years ago when smoking in the office was the norm. He couldn't start work until his half dozen pipes were set up together with the cleaning equipment. He was always trying different blends from a proper tobacconist. As much a hobby as a simple nicotine hit. Only been vaping for three days, but I've cut cigarettes down by 50%. Failed to quit too many times to get excited, but quietly confident, and most of the credit goes to you and the forum members who've been good enough to reply to my posts. Oh dear, I sound like a real a**e creeper. Mai bpen rai.

There's a setup for everyone; difficult part can be finding it, but it's part of the enjoyment.

Personally I find I only like 1 out of 10 on a good day, so I typically would order only 5 first time around. e.g. if you're into fruit and order 10 of them, if the first one's disgusting the next nine probably aren't going to be much better. Though of course the more you order the greater the chances of getting lucky with one. YMMV...

Hello again. A few notes on my first four days of vaping.
Filled it and fired it up using the sub-ohm OCC fitted when I got it. Fiddled about until I got a setting I was happy with. This morning I actually read the glossary of terminology, and discovered that sub-ohm vaping blows your head off, unless you are very experienced and trained by a master vaper. (Presumably U.S. product liability law.)
I swapped the OCC for the 1.2 ohm and found a decent setting, but now I can't stop the thing leaking liquid. Taken it to bits, cleaned all the parts and put it back three times now. Still leaks.
    Any advice?

I never used the coils when I had mine but have heard they leak.
Does it leak if left upright at all times?

Hmm...I've never had a leak from those coils. Are you sure they are genuine? Some places sell clones of those coils. Ex: $12.95 Replacement OCC Coil Head for SUBTANK Clearomizer (10-Pack) 10-pack - 0.5ohm (15-30W) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Or heck even the atty: $11.10 SUBTANK Mini Styled BCC Clearomizer - 3.5ml / 0.5ohm(RBA coil head) / stainless steel + glass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Some folks here have unknowingly purchased items that turned out to be clones and they did not perform up to the standards of the original manufacturer items.

Just a small possibility but thought it worth mentioning. Could also be an original atty or coil and it's defective or developed a problem. Maybe try another 1.2 ohm coil?
