Hello from a vaping virgin

Yes, until the juice gets below the level of the holes on the side of the coil, which defeats the object of a tank that can last all day. When I was checking out the reviews, I found a few complaining about the O rings on the Subox Mini, although most were 5 star. Time to get out the mole grips and make it seriously tight! Always have a few hiccups trying something new.

 

I've seen countless complaints of leaking on Kanger Facebook page. No first hand experience though.

 

I think I had leaking with the Protanks before but only those from Kanger

 

Feel pretty safe with the seller. He's a member here, did a great deal on the Subox, and the home made juice he included tastes great. No problems while I was accidentally using the 0.5 coil, so maybe I just buy some new 1.2's, when I find out where to get them.

Took it with me today for the weekly farang drinking and talking bollocks in your own language session in town. Dribbled like a 13 yr old having his first wet dream. Had to buy 20 L&M. Got the piss taken. LOL

 

Where is it leaking from exactly? The airflow hole or from the tank?

 

Airflow hole, I think. When left upright, the outside of the tank stays dry, but the top of the big bit with the battery (is that the proper name for it? LOL) gets wet.

Think it's sorted. Swapped back to the 0.5 coil and no leaks, so it's the coil.

 

Think I've got it sorted now. I have problems in the morning, when the 0.5 coil and 18mg nic juice hits me like battery acid. So I'll just get another clearomiser with a 1.5 ohm coil to use when I get out of bed. Just now it's working great as it is. The cigs are sitting next to me, and I don't even feel like having one. From 40+ to 10- 15 a day in three weeks, and more to come.

A friend has just come back from Switzerland, where he has to work half the year. Gobsmacked at the weekly farang drinking/talking bollocks session today that I wasn't chain smoking. Tried my Subox, DTL (he likes his weed!). "And you can buy here? Get me one please." Another convert?

Thanks mate. Love this website. Like the Samaritans but for smokers. Once I stop those early morning cigs, I've made it.

 

My last Newbie post entry. Got the Subox Mini set just where I want it. Know the sort of flavours I like, but will still try wild cards. No cigs for three days and don't want one. (I managed five days in about 1989 after acupuncture, but it was agony). Thanks everyone. (The stressed emoticon is because my TM47 hasn't come back yet after two weeks LOL.)

 

My absolutely last newbie post. 30 minutes on the phone to Immigration yesterday, all talking pigeon English/Thai. Now have to do a 7 hour round trip to Phitsanulok next week. Stressed and angry. A few weeks ago I would have hit the cigs big time, but vaping had the same calming effect, (along with a bottle of beer a few hours earlier than usual)! Vaping has now passed my stress test.
