I felt that way in 2010, in fact I only vaped maybe 6-8 months or so, and I just got bored of vaping. The battery situation was frustrating, the cartomizers were frustrating, really I slowed down in the beginning and just eventually was vaping very little and dropped it very easily.

After that in 3 years I didn't smoke more than possibly a handful of cigarettes just from random times I caved in, but I was hardly a smoker, I never bought a pack in 3 years.

Then I came to Thailand, and the whole price of cigarettes wasn't a reason not to smoke (although the rising prices of cigarettes was one of many reasons I quit smoking), and I slowly fell back into smoking. Not that I think it is that easy to do, and I don't think vaping is necessary to not smoke.

I think I would just plan better next time, I definitely wouldn't get rid of all my vaping gear next time. I would keep stuff around so instead of getting back into smoking, I'd hopefully get back into vaping instead.

 

I wouldnt be able to stop myself from having a pack of cigarettes with my beer. It just goes too well together. That was the reason I started vaping but instead of a once a week as with cigarettes its now 7 days a week. I cant complain though =)

 

Well, if I stopped vaping and was having a few beers and fancy a cigarette I'm sure I would just have a vape instead. I certainly wouldn't have a cigarette just because I stopped vaping.

BTW I have no intention to stop vaping anytime soon.

2 days ago my coil and cotton is running out, i forgot to stock them order from vape store. Then i got temptation when my office pal offer me his malboro light my fav before i know vaping

And malboro light taste is quite funny i didnt like it anymore, in my brain already get use of fresh and sweet and menthol juice.. I cant smoke anymore and have zero temptation right now for having smoke...

 

I just spent 10 minutes next to a japanese guy who light up 3 cigarettes consecutively. Results, I smell like crap and I can't get the smell out of my shirts. I did not remember it bothers me that much before, this thing stinks !!!!

 

Today is my 10th day of vaping. The last 5 days without a single cigarette - and the only time I miss them for a minute is when I get my first coffee in the morning (didn't went out for a drink yet... might be harder). My body is changing to the better already. I think I'll stick to it.
About the costs: I don't think I'll save something compared to smoking for a long time. Would have been a nice bonus but health is the main reason. Actually, I'm vaping about 8 to 10ml with 18 nicotine per day - not shure but sounds like a lot.

It does get easier. Personally I think nicotine is only part of the addiction so I think there are still some withdrawals although nothing terrible.

I'm the same with costs, it's cheap to smoke here. But with the amounts, I'm not really sure that it's a lot. It really depends, were you a heavy smoker? Most people here are on low amounts of nicotine, but I think the nicotine absorption may vary depending on how you vape, so it's not that clear cut. A lot of people start out higher and lower the nicotine over time. You can always try to lower your nicotine, but I would continue with it the way it is until you are without cigarettes for a while.

Your juice consumption should be the least of your worries. The top priorities are :

1. Stay off cigs
2. Have batteries
3. Stay off cigs

Everything else will ease down, your nic level, you craving for cig, probably not your expenses though but some here are doing a great job at following a budget (I am not one of them).

 

Hi Moog, I'm a noob here and just getting into vaping. I have a cig-a-like and need to move up to something bigger. We must have kicked off at the same time, but I stopped the cigs 10 days ago, not been easy I must admit, I was on 60 a day and been smoking for best part of 40 years

 

Is there a shop on Samui? I'm sometimes on the island, that would be good news.

I had this little cig-a-like for my trips back and forth to the middle east.

I have got something ordered from outside Thailand, but not sure it'll get here after reading a few posts here LOL
