Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

This is what I've been doing as well. I thought I had it solved in fact... It went a few days with zero issues at all then it all went to crap and I can't keep the ohms in one spot long enough to get through a tank with a consistent vape. I know it will be fine on Kanthal but I'm digging the Titanium vape when it's working right. I really hope the Steam tuners update will solve this. ... I was originally thinking the spring update was just providing more contact area with the spring but now I believe it might actually be allowing for a solid contact once the bottom of the juice control lowers enough and eventually locks against it. If that's the case this ought to be much more than a patch but be a revision included in SM's design going forward.

Ok, just ordered a few of the spring updates. Should this work it'll be all v4s from here out until we see a v5 in the works :)

If you close off two of the air holes in the base (there are four) of the RTA it might be okay???

Very easy to do...just a touch too breezy for a MTL for me

You should try the Uwell Crown if you have not already.

I really like the look of the Single Coil RBA Deck. The Huge Air Hole in the Chimney and below the coil concerns me a little though due to the fact that all that extra airspace can be easily compressed, giving a muffled rather than crisp, tight draw. This is of course just an experienced guess. I have to say though.... should I find a bit of extra money burning a hole in my pocket and someone local has both the Tank and RBA in stock, it will be among the first things I grab. Heck, even if I don't like it, it will be very easy to resell as it's a dynamite sub tank by all accounts.

It's a great tank, the flavor is just awesome. I really like what they did with the top cap, it is very easy to unscrew and to refill, the stock coils are great too btw.
I like the TVF4 a lot but it comes with a bunch of little issues i don't have with the UC.
The airflow is of course adjustable and it's one of the tanks that does not make a flimsy whistling sound.
And yeah you could likely resell it if you don't like it.
Personally i don't like a tight draw on subohm builds, unless with TC, i vape at high W to get warm vapor and a lot of flavor but i need to use a wide airflow and make a fast draw to keep the coils from overheating ( i chain-vape MTL) But yeah with an RBA you can make any build to your preference. For a tight draw i kind of like 1 - 1.5 Ohm builds at 16 - 20 W.

Agreed on the flavor of the Uwell Crown and that's just with the stock coils. I've been really happy with it.

I've just bought a Kabuki tank - a swanky Nautilus, takes BVC heads. Dunno what it will be like - I tried my ex-wife's Nautilus and didn't like it.
The Kabuki is made by HoH, and It was offered at a bargain price, so...

Very cool! Well you can bet on making some good money should you decide you don't get along well with it :D

If you like a tight draw, the Fogger as not bad, big tank, easy to refill too and has a tight air flow.

A dripper with a single coil and cotton wick is so easy to set up, and is pretty leakproof.

Something like a Stumpy should offer no real difficulty.

The Kabuki will most probably go to my ex-wife, who is still on the roll-ups, even though she has had lung cancer.
She didn't get on with the Nautilus I bought for her, maybe this will be easier to fill and operate.

Where'd you get it and how much was it, if you don't mind my asking? I've got a couple headed this way at the end of the month...supposed to be a stellar flavor vape with the BVC coils...

I got it second hand off a mate, which does not help you much, I'm afraid.
I'm looking forward to trying it out on the BVC coils - this will be the first pre-made coil atty that I've owned. Only had a few puffs on the ex's Nautilus before this. Not very impressive, really.
I prefer the look of the Uwell coils - if the Kabuki is a disappointment, then maybe try a Crown?

The nautilus and Uwell Crown are two very different types of tanks. The nautilus is a tight draw tank with 1.6 -1.8 Ohm coils, best suitable for high PG juice. It has a great flavor output but isn't meant for cloud-chasing or anything, it will run well with older, less powerful mods. The Uwell is an awesome subohm tank with a wide airflow, that thing is a juice burner.

If you're looking for flavor, and vape MTL (draw is adjustable within a wide range), it's supposed to be the best there is...puts a Nautilus to shame!

There's a big thread about the Kabuki on ECF. Zen from House of Hybrids, who designed it, really knows his stuff...a lot of testing was done before the design was finalized (which is why it's only 3ml...flavor wasn't the same with a higher capacity tank).

Thanks for the link to ECF. The Kabuki certainly seems to keep a lot of people happy.

Well, the Kabuki has landed, and it's bloody fantastic.
I've never used a ready made coil before, and I'm surprised how good this is - and I believe that it will get better with use, or so I read about break-in period, etc.
The atty itself is beautifully made. The grub screw for the air is a bit loose in it's thread - that's my only niggle, and, as long as the adjustment stays put, no problem.
