I had to downgrade to subox mini, as the uwell crown out of stock, as were the vtc5 bats ... Saved some money, so not all bad, and gives me more time, money and choices to order after new year, silver linings I guess.

Anybody know what wicking is best for a DIY coil rebuild on CE4 ? ... Oh, and I spotted that some people using watson's cotten for wicks in other builds, is this stuff ok for subox mini?

 

I'm here and no problems at all. I had a little shoulder bag with my gear in nano system pulled apart and battery separated in a container no worries at all

 

Yes, I like Todd's reviews. But most English vids I've seen look and sound like someone from the vape shop has been given a carton, pushed in front of a camera, and told to open the box and talk about it.

 

I think, to be fair, that's more an indictment of the Education system in UK, than much else.

@haybilly - a long while since I was in education, but UK government are morons, so wouldn't surprise me (I'm allowed to say this because I have UK passport)

@all - subox mini kit has been paid for, and will be a few days with new year, I didn't realise 31-dec is bank hol in Thailand ... Nevermind, still have a few packs of cigarettes left anyway.

 

Been walking around no problems no one bats an eyelid. A DJ in one of the clubs had a big box mod.

 

@Flick thats good to hear, and one of the reasons that "falangs" like us like Thailand - the Thai's are generally very welcoming and accepting people, and usually take themselves a lot less seriously than falangs. Gotta love the land of smiles.

Now I've got the subox mini, not sure it's worth the effort of recoiling CE4s, but think I have correct wire and will get some silica wick ... Just did my first RBA DIY kanthal coil on subox mini, not as good as premade coils, but would get me by if I had a coils shortage ... Experiments will continue anyway, all this has certainly been an education

 

For RBA, A kuro coil jig set or something similar will help. Get a set that comes with 6 inner diameter size, ranges from 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 3, 4mm. Google/YouTube kuro coil jig, coil master coil jig or just coil jig.
