    I have both and wouldn't even hesitate to go 50w again.

    I have the 40W and the 50W ( did have a 30W but that's another story) - the 40W has a higher quality feel to it.
    It's all very subjective, though. The switch issue does annoy me, though, since just when you think it's going to fire it decides not to.

    The MVP Pro 3.0 has a large battery as well...not as small as the iStick 50 but worthy of consideration nonetheless.
