Kayfun Mini V2.1 ES

I did another top fill this evening and this time while I had it inverted and finished tightening the drip tip top section I released covering the air hole and went right to blowing through that drip tip upward (with bottom of the mini still facing up) with the air hole aimed at a paper towel section. Not a lot of juice was blown out but there was some and no leaking once I brought it back right-side up.

Next time I'll try the fill hole. I read it can be a slow fill that way and yeah, maybe heavy VG would make it a real pain. I'll try with a 50/50 juice first. If it's a pain I'll stick to top fill using the method I describe above becasue it wasn't too bad really. I still really like the vape this mini gives me.

 

Is there any difference in the vape when configured tall or short?

 

I've just spent 15 minutes typing my experience on the KF mini to receive the following message when trying to post it. There are no url/pictures or youtube videos in my post. Sorry, you can't post urls/pictures/youtube videos or some certain spam words until you've got a post count of greater than 5. Hit the back button and try again checking what you wrote. After 5 posts all will be fine.

My Kayfun mini experience from a first timer:
Mine arrived a couple of days ago but without any quality kanthal I was left to stare longingly at it until today when my wire order arrived.
Bearing in mind that I've been vaping on and off for around 4 years with items including ego-t, ego-c, kanger t2 and t3, evod etc without ever feeling that I'd got the vape I was looking for. Clearomizers for me were a complete nightmare with dry hits, burning etc and god knows how many 10's of thousands of baht expended.
So, here we are, KF mini in hand after reading about it on this forum. I've watched a few very informative videos on youtube and also splurged on some extras such as Vamo v5 and a resistance tester amongst other things and felt suitably equiped to tackle my first ever build on an rba. I was hoping for the best but ready for the worst in view of my previous experiences.
Followed all the acquired knowledge and managed to build a 1.5 ohm micro coil ( even torched it ) which made me realise just how bad my eyesight is. Test fired it and was amazed with a perfect firing format of coil heating from the centre outwards and no hotspots. Lordy, it was all going far too well.
Nerves of steel were required to get the cotton through that 1.5mm coil, or maybe it was just luck. Primed the cotton with a few drops of 3+ year old L&b paradisevape juice and gave her another fire. Holy smoke, still looking good and thinking this can last.
Started assembling the mini and again followed the youtube video and did a top fill whilst blocking the air hole and not a single drip leaked out. Now by this point I'm starting to think I can give rip trippers run for his money
Let her sit for a few minutes and then the virgin toke and, aw hell.... pretty disappointed. Few more pulls on it and nope, this is naff. Hardly any vapour. Am I jinxed forever in regards to vaping? Well, the light came on so to speak. Looking at the bottom of the mini I notice the air screw!! The fully closed air screw!! Opened her up and hep presto, clouds of delicious tobacco tasting vape. I'm in vape heaven......

Your experience reads very much like mine....right down to the air flow control. I actually added a replacement screw on top of the one that was already in their. I'm sitting here vaping off it as I right. When I get things set up just right on that thing it can almost be described as orgasmic.

 

This thing can get messy and get on your nerves but when it wors as intended it is definitly the best vape I had, love my kayfun when I dont hate it
